Are you saying Dippo + 5FRP’s for Beal???
I’m asking because you finish by saying “get him at a reasonable price”...o_O

I’m in for getting Beal, but this is not reasonable price to me. I’m also not in favor of a Wall/Beal do-over! I’m getting gassy just thinking about it...

I don't see him wanting to be reunited with Wall.. Players aren't ignorant to albatross contracts weighing a team down and preventing serious contention.

Believe it or not, Beal will get traded for a package similar to Harden.

I bet Denver would make a play. Gary Harris + MPJ and a FRP or two would be a solid package for Wizards.

yea, that's the maximum offer I'll give for Beal, and I think Wizards won't be content and will likely get a better offer. The Piston, Wizards picks are all heavily protected and may well convert to second round picks; the Blazers pick is going to be around 16 - 20; the Bucks and Nets picks are going to be late 20s. It sounds like a lot, but really none of it is premium asset.

Wall played well the first 6 games, 26.3 ppg + 10.2 apg + 2 steals per game + 1.8 blocks per game. His shooting percentage was not good 40.6%, but not too bad either. He even hit a buzzer beating game winner 3 for G6.

Haha. I’m not saying I think he’s worth that.

But because of his age and the perception of him around the league, I can see a team giving up the whole farm.

That’s still a lot to give in my opinion, especially since we lack another solid big on our team. Hopefully we all get STONED again! :D

(P.S.) I need to stop using STONED in my posts lest I become WASTED in regret! o_O

Maybe if Beal was 24. But now he's entering in him prime while we are trying to rebuild. Plus you ain't winning much with Walls contract. You need to paid Beal with another legit star.

beal scores a lot of points that dont impact the game. He doesnt force many coaches to call timeouts like harden does.

Beal is an absolute stud. Beal is the real deal at only 27 years old. This has to be one of stone’s targets. Very interesting.

Just occurred to me that we would definitely have to overpay for Beal. The Wizards front office has to be absolutely pissed at Stone for fleecing them in the Westbrook trade. They’ll want to recoup some value from us. Every game they have to watch Westbrook running around looking like the PG version of Javale McGee can’t possibly be helping us in negotiations.

What contender or possible contender could get him though? I’m curious as to why he even signed that extension 2 years ago. He could’ve been in this 2021 class with a heavy interest.

If we gonna offer that many picks, I’d say PJ + EG + House, instead of VO.

He’s only 27. Wood is already 25. Who said Houston is undergoing a complete rebuild? With Beal Wall and Wood surrounded by those tough defending role players and add some shooters and front court help, this could be a very good team. I personally think Drummond could be a good fit for this team at the starting 5 to play with wood if they could find a way to get him here by dumping walls contract. Prob will never happen but his defensive and rebounding presence would solidify this team.

This would definitely be a push for championship in the next 4 years.
Honestly the crazy thing is. . . we would use wall to recruit Beal
Then immediately probably look to move Wall in the next year or two

Beal and Wood for the next 5 years
I think we would need another piece and that piece is not Wall

Let me be honest here. . . I really just don't like Wall's game
I think it would take away from Beal and Wood
Wall is a #3 that thinks he should be a #1

I like EGO more than VO
Plus I think Wizards would like VO more than EGO
