today's 10% drop---in the midst of forming a handle to a CWH formation---is an anomaly, i can only surmise that many SDGR holders took profits and hopped on the yolo WSB gravy train to squeeze the shortists 80 must hold !!!
I keep pretty tight stops. Actually need to work on loosening them up since I miss some gains when I get stopped out.
I have held Palantir since $10ish dollars and am just riding the wave. AND WHAT A WAVE. Once in a decade (or couple of decades) opportunity in the markets is coming to fruition right before our eyes. Play with caution folks.
Thanks; my best guess on y it fell even harder than rest of market is that it is a institution/hedge fund fav, and Funds that were covering shorts had to sell off equities to fund the short covering. At first I was thinking the impact can't be that big, then it dawned on me that reckless mofos that shorted 140% of gme are the types that would use huge leverage for their long positions. Nothing about the company has changed tho. Holding into earnings, still my fav stock and biggest position.
I agree this whole WSB war against hedgies could spiral into something bigger. I'm going to start scaling out of some of my larger positions into cash tmrw.
Vix at 37, reaching end october levels, very reminiscent of the dip when softbank whale calls came to light. I've never bought vix before, should I get that as a hedge? For now my plan is hodl longs and day trade the volatility.
Watching isun, hopefully sndl moves a little more. And then of course the meme stocks (I have a little nok left but scaled out most w/ profits in AH). Isun was something I saw mentioned so just sharing in case there's an easy flip there.

Latest data I've seen is 120% short interest as of 15 jan. Mathematically it's possible that the shorts have covered... But I doubt it. Desperate attempts to limit trading and block discord servers suggests they are still on the hook.
It will take several days for the shorts to cover, and Friday is just the start. Then we find out who really has the diamond hands.
See my above post, mathematically I think they could have covered already. I've seen other posts on wsb on days to cover, but based on nyse latest data and recent trading volume they could have already covered (tho I don't think they have fully done so); with the amount of press coverage and new money coming in, it may not matter. This is like tsla, the more cnbc b**** about it, the more awareness and price up.
Yesterday was a great entry spot when people panicked and it dropped to 220. Some of you are risking on worse companies, might as well throw in 100 bucks guys lol.
