Our new staff is going to be

    Head Coach: Eric Bienemy
    OC: David Culley
    DC: Leslie Frazier
Made Up Assistant Coaching Position: Tim Kelly
    QB Coach: Josh McCown

We'll go 9-7 and things will be back to normal before we know it....

I'd take 9-7 in 2021 with this staff and with Watson staying over almost any other realistic option.

EB and Watson both Texans this time next year? The rest is free money.

I don't ever want to dump on someone's body of work unnecessarily, and it may not all be his fault, but every team he coached since the 94-95 Buccs the big knock on them was poor receiver play.

I remember those Eagle teams and their WR's, James Thrash, Todd Pinkston...

He's had like 4 - WR's produce in the 20+ years coaching WR's. (Yancey Thigpen, Jeremy Maclin, T.O., Deshaun Jackson).

Unless he brings in an All-Star staff, it's going to be tough to get excited about him and the "energy he brings to the building"....

    I’m underwhelmed. As usual...

Although I must admit I would be happy for Culley to finally get a shot if it was for any other team.

I feel like this is what will happen too. EB isn’t getting another interview because his team is still playing, and he’s already been offered the job. Both parties probably agreed not to announce or leak the handshake deal out of respect to EB’s current position and team.

Watson hasn’t demanded a traded despite all the smoke from that rumor. He got his coach in EB but not officially. Since he doesn’t trust Cal and the righteous one, he won’t say anything until EB is officially hired

the rest of these interviews are for assistants. Frazier will probably associate head coach. That’s the only other promotion over assistant hc and DC

can’t wait til reality punches me in the gut

Still weird to bring in coordinators for 2nd interviews isn't it? I mean ultimately it would EBs call on how he fills out his staff so these guys are coming back with an offer of a similar job with a worse team? I dunno.

Sounds like we won’t have an answer today. Will say I don’t think this ends well on the DW4 front if it is indeed Frazier or Culley. Not even requesting a 2nd interview, whether Zoom or in-person, will be perceived that it was done just to appease DW4. Whether true or not won’t really matter.

David Culley or Leslie Frazier?? Goodbye Deshaun.

Cal, this isn't "sports hate", it's actual hate: **** you. Thanks for ruining the damn franchise.

Ya a lot to unfold here. First I don’t see Frazier doing that to the Bills given their supposed relationship. Think it’d also be a potential tampering case if they misrepresented the interview request given that both owners and the NFL had to grant the exemption.

It is weird, but judging by the content of the articles regarding these two candidates, I’d guess that the second interviews are character assessments. The VP of Character Judgement Mr. Easterby has his own interview agenda I guess. Maybe Cal said EB can hire his own assistants IF the front office’s top choices decline or are not righteously fit. Also, Culley and Frazier would have promotions on the new team. Culley to OC finally, and Frazier as Associate HC and DC vs Assistant HC and DC. That would technically make him a head coach to avoid paperwork with the Bills.

Culley as the OC and Assistant HC under EB or Frazier, I could buy. It's a promotion and cannot be blocked by the Ravens.

Frazier being the DC? Unless his contract is up in Buffalo, I don't see that at all.

Culley is more of a possibility. Although they’d be completely screwing Tim Kelly over.

But don’t see Frazier misrepresenting his intentions, nor do I really see him wanting to bail on the Bills for the Texans unless McDermott indicated they’d be moving on. Both unlikely scenarios.

    Yes.

    This franchise is despicable.

The Texans Way is literally going to convert into a church for tax purposes.
