wizards vs rockets on Jan 26th, i know, it's just another game, not even be deemed as a beautiful one anyhow, esp. the first half, quite boring.
i know you might say this team no longer a playoff caliber team, or they won't go far in the coming playoff, or might not even stay heathy! (2 weeks ago, i agreed w/ ya)

but, think about it, in 2020-2021, some ppl died, some ppl can't keep their job, some ppl are starving, this kinda game means a lot, means those players from NOWHERE (tate, mason jones, nwaba, KMJ etc.) n those injury-prone stars, they care, they value the very opportunity to stay stronger for their family n for us.

    Calvin Murthy on those players:

    Wall in postgame interview:
the championship is more than a symbol. however, once you found out a shortcut to win, you cheating, the symbol meaningless, so i no longer care about the championship, i care about the team n those players who care their fans.
    NOT me, but the team.

F that, give me the F'ing championship.

Calvin never won jack anyway so what does he know.

Is Calvin saying Dream or Moses did not play the right way?

And this game was a shitfest the 1st 3 quarters because Wall-Dipo-Boogie were playing the WRONG way.

If not for EGo and the junkyard dogs on the 2nd unit this game would have been a **** fest AND a L.

30 teams have long been pinned in adam silver's BCG matrix, for this organization, the championship is nothing but a boost to the business growth, LBJ knows well.

    its their game.
for me, i only care about Ws n those players who care about this team.

Yo Guiys.. teamwork is better than winning. GggooOoO teaM.

If the goal is the fumbleball we saw in the 3rd quarter, then that is highly unsatisfying.
    Players play to win.
    Fans chart for winners
    Winners win championships.

That's the goal, this team is in rebuild mode, whether or not they admit it. Great if we make the playoffs this year, that just accelerates the rebuild by increasing the value of our current squad!

Calm down dude....every game is not going to be perfect. A win is a win. No matter how ugly it is.

Tough unaesthetic wins are not the problem, it's the BS narrative that is being spun.

Tonight's game was far from team ball, it was iso at its ugliest.

And when even Calvin starts waxing nostalgic to perpetuate lies, then the pathologies are exposed even further.

    So what one is it?

    - Does Harden suck because he didn't win a championship?

    - Or are championships not important?

    Asking for several friends.

we tend to disagree but tonight was ****ing ugly. It was all Iso and Silas jumping up and down yelling at Dipo and Wall to play faster. I really start to dislike Oladipo he wants to play isolations like a superstar but can't handle basketball, pass or shoot lol. His offensive game right now looks really ugly I hope he just searching ways to fit in but I don't see any desire to play team ball on his behalf other than passing to rolling man

Yeah, that walking the ball up at snail's pace then pass only between Wall-Dipo-Boogie with lots of dribbling with little or no ball or player movement was maddening. Especially because Wiz were playing a zone and were determined to set up a wall in paint to prevent anyone driving free to rim.

I was shocked that Silas was so animated during the game but not a peep from him in post game interviews.

Keep in mind last night is the first time dipo, boogie, and wall all play together. You still haven’t had a game where this team is at full strength having wood out.

there’s still room for growth here

More like team with Harden that doesn't win championship is better than team without him. The way around here sometimes.

Cousins was asked, how does this help you when Wood comes back and you come off the bench?

Didn’t seem like he liked that question. He answered, idK, we will see how this scenario plays out.
Translation: how does this help Wood as he comes off the bench.

Then Harden's tenure was like 2 moral championships.
