Boogie's defense is one of the reasons we're even on this streak lol

Rockets surrendered 29 points in the First Quarter then 59 points the remaining game.

One of the main reasons is the rebounding discrepancy jmproved.

EG is shooting 60% TS for the season. People just get on him because his game isnt pretty and he like to flop but if you look at what he does in black and white you will know he is doing a great job scoring the ball this season. On defense he isnt gonna be a defensive monster but he is above average as well.

Dudes been doing a great job all year and deserves some Respekt on that name.

Pretty good game vs an awful opponent. We were behind early, but I knew when Brick came in, we would be ok. That said, some of our guys need to work on their efficiency as well.

32% 3PT% might get a win vs the Wizards, but we have to improve on this. 2nd good game in a row for Boogie! Gordon was our most efficient player with 20pts on 13 shots.

sadly?!... its a great value because stone has an eye for the talent... he finds undrafted gems and good players with ease and will find great players with 15-30 range

Tucker is definitely a problem. It dont matter how good you are on one side if you are zero on the other.

Jose Calderon was one of the better offensive players in the NBA but couldnt have a long career cuz his D sucked. Trae Young is an offensive wiz but Atl on a course to miss playoffs cuz people hust dribble past him every play. Tucker is really good defensively but his 0fer nights put the team in a hole. You aint winning games if you 4 on 5 on offense. Silas needs to talk to him about being more aggressive or his PT gonna decrease.

I think you all have forgotten that Wood was playing like a legit all star before his ankle.

25 and 10 is excellent for a big people. And he gets those number with efficiency.

Wood is also a top 10 rim protector.

Right but again thats not contrary to anything I said. He's streaky he complains about fouls sometime she looks terrible and most of the hate hasnt even come this year for him. If we're not a playoff team by trade deadline however I think we still should trade him.

I know you aint a fan but with Boogie playing like he is I still think Wall and Wood fc will work. Wood would certainly give more production in pts and rebs than Tucker.

Ego wont be traded cuz he still has a year left on his deal, itll take assets to move him. Second Rox will def be a playoff team at the deadline they are better than GSW, Memphis and Portland (injured Mcollum) as well as Spurs, OKC and Dal (injured kristaps)

Finally 60% TS means he gets a point 60% of the time he makes a move. Thats the opposite of streaky. He just looks streaky cuz thats his perimeter shooting but on nights that happens he drives in more and tries to go to ft line. Like EG vs Pistons pnly shot 16% from 3 but he had 20 pts on 15 attempts. Thats still efficient man.

Or Silas needs to make sure Rockets have sets to open up the corner 3, the best 3ball shot in NBA.

And PJ is still THE best at this shot.

And yet PJ was still a +1 on the court.

Tate only put up 3 points but no one is calling for his head.

There are things that do not show up on scoreboard like hustle plays, boxing out, calling the defense, taking charges, etc.

Tucker is not ball dominant and does his job like a professional game in and game out. He never misses games even plays hurt.

Top 3 iron man in Rockets history.

I have advocated trading Tucker because team is rebuilding but not because he is a negative or no longer useful player.

    Far from it.

Then Boogie is the stretch 4 in this scenario on offense which allows Wood to continue being roller/lob threat.

But man, those 2 will be huge liability if playing together on defensive side.

A good problem to have. Both of them can be more aggressively defensively. Boogie is pro ally a tad better than Wood on D right now. But Wood shot blocking ability is really nice.
