NBA fans appalled that Westbrook makes more than vet min in the NBA and that the media narrative'd themselves hard enough to give him an MVP. The audacity.

 

I almost felt bad for them. That was a REALLY unhappy looking group...

 

Westbrook is who should’ve had the ball more than Harden running the offense according to some

he looks like 08-09 T-Mac out there...he’s been horrible

 

Seems like the only thing he can still do is bring it past half court. Anything else is a turnover or a brick. Westbrook should have brought it up but never went ISO, Harden should have been the only one doing ISO's. Brining the ball up to relive pressure off Harden is totally different than completely orchestrating the entire offense. Only OKC would be that silly, ah maybe MDA too.

 

Washington has lost 8 of the 9 games Westbrook has played in. Getting Wall and a first round pick for him (even if we don't see it for a few years) is looking pretty sweet right now.

 

Still came out net worse trading CP3 and picks for him, but yes. We can move forward, thank goodness.

 

Exactly. It's not a total mulligan from the situation, but we're in OK shape after the original debacle. The WB for CP3 swap was an F, but WB for Wall was a nice A- imo. So overall those transactions were at like a C+ which isn't horrible at least.

I would argue that it didn't matter who we traded WB for, the move doomed us as contenders and was the nail on the coffin for Harden leaving.

Even though Wall is better, we are rebuilding do it doesn't really matter. Only good part is the pick
