I resent that negative portrayal...starting a new Journey thread is a GREAT idea, not one at which to exclaim "nooooooooo." So shut up.

If that ugly chick was French and had a sexy French accent, I would vote for her.

    B-Bob & ROXRAN,

Which is more cadaver/zombie-like: Kerry's face or his public speaking style?

Too easy! Since cadavers don't speak, we can easily see that... wait a minute...

I recall this one incredibly creepy Halloween; this is a true story. We saw someone slumped over in the park, wearing jogging shorts and a T-shirt. We went over and tried to rouse him. When we turned him over, he made this unliving raspy exhale.

He was indeed dead (the coroner's office eventually said heart attack), but when we moved him, the shifting weight of his body forced out this breath... and it sounded a lot like John Kerry.

So I'll vote for his speaking style.

Actually, when he ran for governor, most people I knew did not consider him a Texan, particularly when he killed the state bird on a dove hunt. There was a wonderfully idiotic photo of him holding up the dead state symbol with a smile on his face, thinking he had killed the correct target.

I remember remarking to my father, "that's the end of his political career." Dad said, "Yup."

But somehow, people are very comfortable with his continually demonstrated lack of mental agility.

Just for the record, America doesn't recognize "dual" citizenship. You cannot interchange two passports.

That being said, most other countries do recognize it...such as Canada. My wife is a dual citizen of Canada and U.S. But as far as the U.S. is concerned, they don't recogize her Canadian citizenship.

Also for the record, a military base is considered U.S. land when it is overseas. So if she were born on a base, she was born in America...not France.

Pretty much on target, which doesn't say much for us Texans, unfortunately.
