Compulsive liars just can't stop themselves. After 4 years of Trump and the GOP the ethics committee needs to make some changes. Flat out Lies, deception, and propaganda by leaders paid to serve led to our country's biggest problems in decades. We are averaging more Covid deaths daily than many countries have had combined since day one. We have gun toting radicals walking around packed and loaded with ammo like some 3rd world country charging into State Capitols and threatening to kill Governors. We have masses of hate groups and radicals incited by blatant lies and propaganda to come to Washington to help stop the Steal storming the Capitol. All, because nobody stopped lying, propaganda spreading paid officials from inciting people to do harmful things to both themselves and others with lie after lie after lie, and propaganda spreading to millions on TV, social media, and at rallies. Why? Don't the people of this country deserve to know the truth? This isn't Russia, China, North Korea, or Iraq. This is the USA and our people deserve better. Truth not lies. Most people would be fired on the spot if they lied and put coworkers at risk of death. They would certainly get fired for spreading lies about coworkers on social media. Our Presidents and Representatives need to be held responsible for truth. They need to change laws for the times, and take action against politicians spreading lies and propaganda on social media. For as bad as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Boebbert are let's remember that they are only first term Representatives and while they make a lot of news they really don't have a lot of power. I think making them the face of the party would be granting them more influence than they actually have. The bigger concern are the people like Jim Jordon and Devin Nunes who actually do wield power within the GOP Caucus.
It legitimately frightens me to the core that someone like this can be a US federal legislator: Someone reassure me that this country is not beyond saving because someone so lacking in basic education and with such abject open bigoted views who can actually garner enough votes to win a federal district in this country should be a sign that this country is lost. She isn't some obscure state rep where only 40 people might have voted her in. No, she is a federally elected legislator. Wtf?
