There is literally nothing new in the news cycle this week regarding this... but the pre-game shows are less than 24 hours away and the networks need “something”... so I’d expect another Mort/Shefter conjecture-bomb at some point to drop soon.

    That’s a good deal.
Keep Darnold and draft Davonte smith.

Perfect world if Deshaun does ask out (please please please don’t go Deshaun)

-traded to jets for number 2 pick and way more
    -urban takes fields
    -we take Lawrence

I get to watch Deshaun here in nyc playing for my second team, the jets, and Texans get Lawrence

That being said—-I hope we convince Deshaun to stay

He hasn't come out and denied them either. He is on social media all the time and is well aware of what is going on and what is being rumored about him. He could squash it all today if he wanted to.

If we trade Watson to the Jets, we NEED to find a way to trade the #2 pick for the #1 pick.

Bingo. This is exactly the point. Watson's silence allows ALL of this to happen.

    1. Silence in not squashing the social media smoke
    2. Silence in not RETURNING THE PHONE CALL of Texans' ownership.

There will never be any satisfactory resolution unless Watson mans up and starts communicating like an adult.

This would work too. Give the Jags one or two of the 1st round picks you got from the Jets and your own 2nd round pick next year.
Always have to keep in mind that just because you trade away Deshaun, things will be good.
The trade is just kicking the real problem 4 years down the road and just hoping cal finally gets it or that something happens to cal, god forbid, and some secret half sister of Cal shows up and takes real ownership.

I'm not a Texans fan by no means.

But why not try and Package
    J.J. Watt and Deshaun Watson

    For
Sam Darnold, Denzel Mimms, Quinnin Williams plus 2021 1st and 2nd rounders and 2022 1st rounder.
The trade in itself saves you cash after this year.
Gives you a Starting QB you can Trade for more 1st rounders maybe the Colts for a 1st and 2nd.
Deaft you Lawerance or Fields or Wilson or the Mac kid and build for your future.
You could have 2 first rounders two 2nd rounders and three 1st next year
    To essentially rebuild your team.

Are we seriously about to lose Deshaun Watson, George Springer, and James Harden all within the first few months of the year? Along with what happened last year too losing all GMs, head coaches, and the Astros scandal. This would have to be the worst two years in Houston sports history.

it would be really hard to be a sports fan in this town after all this. It’s really too much to take.

I seriously hope we can at least keep Deshaun.

He doesn't want to and doesnt have 2. We have a sht owner that flat out ignored Watson's advice even though asking for it.

We have a Texan great, a player who sacrifice his career playing for this sht organization telling the owner to fire the religious charlatan, and the owner still refuse.

Watson doesn't owe the front office anything, they have shown they don't care about winning. The front office has so far has done nothing to prove to the fans, or watson that they even want to win, only thing they shown is that they prioritize being holy/religious.

This has literally created a twitter war between Jets and Dolphins fans... each arguing which situation is “better” for Watson and what each team should do to ‘convince’ him of his chances with the other... meanwhile i’m still impressed at the “timing” of all of this. Watson apparently only talks to all these people between Saturdays and Sundays....

If that pos dont want to stay here, why are we begging him to stay? I rather have someone half his talent playing for my team. He can gtfo of houston.

^FYI this is someone in Watson's camp, converting Texans fans into WOF's. He's already turned a few.
