For those that aren’t feeling the first two episodes like me, any chance this rebounds ?

my guess is after they're done with the drawn out sitcoms. not holding my breath that's next week or the week after. better rewatch mando and stash wandavis away till the season ends.

I've temporarily switched to 'The Flight Attendant' for now.

Any comic book tv series I've watched, seems to have always started pretty slow (DC and Marvel), so I'm still thinking this will get better after another episode or two.

I want all of you who hate it to keep hating it and them to keep going with their vision, because I think this is a great show and concept.

New episode gets interesting towards the end. Wait another week I guess.

Three episodes in, and this show is pretty dang cool.

Has something for the boomers. Has something for the millennials. Has something for hardcore Marvel fans, and some for casual fans. Explores Wanda's story, giving us more Olsen and Bettany.

If you're not a fan of the first two episodes, you'll probably like the direction it's going in now, after (you-know-who) gets (you-know-what) from the (you-know-where).

Seems like the show went from 0 to 100 in one episode, which is good.

The sitcom stuff is an interesting idea to play with but it just doesn't mesh well for me. I've been basically uninterested during the sitcom stuff and when they start with the creepier stuff it gets interesting. I feel like the balance is off with too much of the sitcom stuff, not enough of the suspense, and a lot of filler. I get the sitcom idea tries to present a different angle/vibe, but it just doesn't add much and kind of detracts from the show for me.

In my opinion, it's like someone came up with the sitcom idea to draw a different audience in and it just falls kind of flat. Anyhow, it was an interesting finish.

Ep three was good. We start to get some real meat- action and Easter eggs. Got an X-Files vibe from the final scene.

Agree, this one definitely had more meat and seemed to deliver better about potentials to come...actually enjoyed this episode, it was scary to see Wanda switch at the end from loving and light hearted to real and emotionally void plus intense in a flash

Feeling better about the show now

Episodes 1 and 2 were horrible. Objectively.

I think it's a fun way to present Wanda's state of mind. With the grief from losing both her brother in AoU and Vision in IW, I think Wanda closed herself off from the rest of the world and dove into one she created for herself. It's a bit like coming home from a shitty day at work and queuing up Netflix for something to get lost in, so that you don't have to think about reality for the time being.

Like you said, interesting finish - hopefully the show moves in a different direction now.

I know I sound like a broken record, but it really showcases the acting chops of Elizabeth Olsen. If RDJ 'revitalized' his career with the first Iron Man, Wandavision could serve as a similar star vehicle for Olsen.

I agree I am not feeling this slow burn especially when the season is only 9 episodes. The comic shows I like usually have a major event in the first act to lure you in and this one just seems like a lame attempt to be funny when its not funny at all.

I think the acting with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany has been excellent.

Hope they choose 80s action like knight rider or A-Team to spoof Rather than that eras sitcoms.

I really hope the payoff to this is self contained. These bridge shows have a tendency to have a cliffhanger "season finales" where you itch for the next thing (Dr.Strange).

It turns into an overrated commercial with 50 mins of watchable content...
Kinda reminds me of theater acting or even improv at times.

This show is what happens when writers watch too many cooks too many times.
