The really stupid thing is to wait a year to find a good position in the draft when this team is not a playoff team (now) and this draft is the most talented in years.

Watching Griffin and Cousins just makes me sad. If this was 2014 it would be a marquee matchup, yet now they’re combining for what feels like is 4/4000 shooting and a few blown layups a game. Griffin brought back that time machine for one shot and rebound, though. Maybe Boggy Couscous can do the same.

Still have no consistency or fluidity to our offense, but for a while there (against the worst team in the NBA) the small lineup’s defense looked dominant. A win is a win, true, but it also feels weird to look at the Pistons and think “oh yeah, now these guys right here are our direct competition”.

There is the faintest of hopes that upon Wall’s return, with a proper point guard on the team, the offense will start looking NBA-caliber. Let’s see how it goes,
