i could see a 2nd tier of Maxey, Reddish, RJ Hampton, etc being available for Oladipo.

That said, once you get past Herro/MPJ, I think the picks may be more valuable to us.

Yeah I think so too. Unless Jokic or Murray start complaining they're in no rush. It was just more of wishful thinking though the same type of package may also be applied elsewhere.

    Some concept trades with Oladipo:

Miami: Precious Achiuwa, Kendrick Nunn, Iggy

Denver: Den 2021 1st, RJ Hampton, Will Barton

GSW: Kelly Oubre Jr., Looney, GSW 2021 1st, GSW 2023 1st

    Sacramento In: Ben Simmons
    Philly In: Oladipo, Tucker
Hou In: Parker, Bagley, Sac 2021 1st, Sac 2023 1st

Love that miami deal. Achiuwa is my #1 target in a deal for oladipo. If they add Nunn I'd even consider take ng back olnyk rather than iggy (who I'd flip to a contender anyway).

The sad realization that CF will come to sooner than later is that the trade package of Simmons-Thybulle-player + same number of draft picks/swaps that BKN handed over is MUCH better than those same picks/swaps + Oladipo-Exum-Kurucs.

At least Rockets would be younger, longer and MORE athletic with an actual identity, the defense would be lockdown, it would be elite.

    EGo
    Thybulle
    Tucker
    Simmons
    Wood

And Wall would be the spark off the bench, the role he has been best suited to play since day one.

    Wall
    Brown
    Nwaba
    Tate
    *Cousins

*I would have kept Bruno over Cousins personally because Cousins is worthless now. Bruno is the better perimeter defender, rim protector, rebounder and 3ball shooter.

Is it too late to alter Cavs trade so Rockets receive Larry Nance in addition Kevin Porter????

Rockets need to make this acquisition a priority.

Larry Nance Jr. AND Aaron Gordon need to be Rockets.

This team needs a vaccine for this virus we call a defense.

We need at least 1to 2 more 7 foot Centers. I got 2 in the free agency pool. Dedmon and Maker. But I guess we have to make a trade first. A trade is happening at the deadline.

Lavine would be the best fit the way he’s playing but I’d think a PF/C ( in that order) would be more beneficial to our weak ass from court, minus Woods.

so I think Porter from Denver would be next up but I’m concerned with injury issues. Honestly we should have probably taken that Philly deal. Simmons is a legit PF with good height and another all star which were sorely need.

76ers never even got a chance to counter, Stone never ran it by them.

Philly media strongly believe that Morey would have done so, 76ers even went so far as to inform Simmons & Thybulle representatives that they would be traded.

It was Simmons/Maxey + 3 picks. Never saw any word of any swaps, and Simmons looks trash this year.

Imagine being a LeBron-type athlete, but wanting to play like an oversized Rajon Rondo. Wouldn't be me lol

Simmons is the best defender in the NBA right now.

He is more skilled than Giannis.

Only Wood is taller than 6'6 or has wingspan more than 6'9.

I, like you, think these two fix most things. I also know they are not a bust and are sure things making them better then most draft choices. If there is a way to hang onto Wood and Oladipo the four would make a great core. I don’t want to wait for years of almost and if onlys. Moral victories do nothing for me, personally. Make trades now to get competitive or we wait to grow the talent to realize it’s not better than what is available now.

The picks from Brooklyn and Philly aren't apples to apples.

No way Morey was gonna give up 7 years of unprotected picks & swaps plus Simmons. Those picks would have had some protections or there would have been fewer when adding Simmons to the equation.

See the OKC deal for Westbrook - picks have top 4 protections and turn into 2nd round picks the following year.

You can bet your last dollar that any deal with Morey would have had similar protections.

Also, the championship window of the Nets is really small compared to that of the Sixers. Embiid is 26.

You cannot say what Morey would or would not have done because Stone did not give him the chance.

We all know how much he loves Harden.

That plus the CP3 and Westbrook trades tell me that anything is on the table with Morey.

Rockets really need to package a trade for AG right now.

I can already imagine the possibilities of AG PnR with Wood.

Plus Rockets would be deadly AGAIN in transition.

    And of course DEFENSE!

EGo + FRP for AG right now.

Or wait until Feb 2, 2021 and trade Dipo + House for AG + Bamba.

    Porter
    Thybulle
    AG
    Wood
    Bamba
