Define relationship. For me it would require evidence of quid pro quo for it to be concerning. That means an exchange of benefits.

So I'll ask again, what policy changes that were against US interests were made by Biden possibly due to his son's business dealings?

Like I said before I can hold your hand and walk you through the exchange of benefits that were against US interests to the point where members of his own party were against said actions for people like Ivanka and China or Trump and Turkey.

Anyone with a relationship with China and Ukraine is a security risk? Even if this answer is yes, there is no security risk to the Biden administration. Stop assuming Hunter will be part of the admin because Trump put his family in his administation.

Hunter Biden’s Family Name Aided Deals With Foreign Tycoons
Business dealings of Joe Biden’s son are at the center of a federal tax investigation and loom over the start of his presidency

Hunter Biden ramped up business activities with European and Chinese tycoons as his father exited the vice presidency four years ago. For him it was a potential path to income; for the tycoons, the Biden family name promised to burnish their reputations.

The dealings got the younger Mr. Biden a discounted stake in a private-equity firm in China and consulting arrangements with a Romanian property magnate and overall allowed him to maintain a globe-trotting lifestyle, according to interviews, documents and communications reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. A Chinese energy tycoon gave Mr. Biden a 2.8-carat diamond, and entities linked to him wired nearly $5 million to Mr. Biden’s law firm, according to an investigation by Senate Republicans.

These arrangements now loom over President-elect Joe Biden. A federal criminal tax investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings is under way, with findings potentially trickling out in coming months. His business ties to well-connected people in China and other places could add to scrutiny of foreign-policy decisions taken by the Biden administration over possible conflicts of interest. All are likely to provide ammunition to Republicans.

What I think many fail to realize is that virtually all politicians do this nonsense. Family members on boards of companies they have no qualification to be on, lucrative real estate investments before a road is about to get expanded. Hell, insider trading was legal till a few years ago!

Politicians are simply dirty and its just the way its always been done. People want to curry favor with them and they are simply open for business.
This is mainly a result of governmental control over economic resources, regulations and trade deals. That which the government came in to help has become the source of their financial windfalls. Lobbyists from every concentrated power from Unions, to Corporations, to Oil and Gas, to Climate Folks, to Trial Lawyers to Doctors associations....they are politically concentrated groups that find a way to change the laws to benefit or protect their constituency. In the end the consumer pays more for services, taxes and products without even knowing it.

I can hold your hand and walk you through explicitly the quid and pro quo part of transactions between the Trump family and foerign nations where Trump went diametrically explicitly against American policy interests where his own party members were dumbfounded that Trump made the policy decision. A couple of examples are Trump removing troops at the request of Erdogan and Trump removing sanctions on the second largest telecommunication company in China, ZTE. Both actions GOP officials were confused and vehemently were against those decisions.

Now show me policy changes that Biden did that were against US interests were his own party was confused with the decision. Example, Victor Shokin was desired to be removed by the IMF, GOP senators and was the official US policy that Biden executed.

See the difference is i see Trump as transactional that is just doing business in sleazy DC.
You deny the Clinton Foundation and favors these guys and their families get as any sort of issue.

It's like when everyone hated Chris Paul's cheap shots and dirty tricks until he came to the Rockets
and was just crafty and smart and a 'competitor'.

You guys are kool aid drinking Cheerleaders if you don't recognize the bullshit of some druggie son getting a ton of
cash from sitting on the board of a Ukranian energy company and getting capital investments into deals while
riding on the plane back with his dad, the Vice President!

They gave him the board seat, and capital to BUY influence. Its so obvious. Not saying Trump or his family is
one iota better but this is clear as day.

The donor groups of the Clinton Foundation is an influence peddling machine. Want proof? They received
millions from Ukraine, Saudi, Nigeria and all kinds of wonderful places and what happened after she lost?
    DONATIONS ALL DRIED UP!

This is the way the game is played. Be a dumb cheerleader on the side or recognize its a problem with the species
    of politician and the system.

Show me the quid pro quo where you can hold my hand and walk me through how Clinton or Biden diametrically went against US policy where own party members are bamboozled by the decision because a foerign power gave them something in return.

One example is all I ask for. I can do this multiple times with TRUMP.

Yes Fchowd, Rwanda, Saudi, Ukraine and all these countries gave millions to the Clinton Foundation and put Biden's son
    on retainer for ZERO INFLUENCE.

I think you need to read about a cognitive function called reciprocation tendency. Politicians sell everything from Pardons,
to laws, to regulations to contracts. Marc Rich's pardon cost $450,000 and he bought oil from Iran and made a billion.

The only way to reduce this is to limit the power of government across the board as the founding father's wanted.

But yes you are right children of government officials riding on government planes should be on a cushy board's making
$600,000 a year in a corrupt country like Ukraine. But they're not trying to influence anything. A board member attends
    4-5 meetings a year. For $600,000.

The simplest explanation is usually the right one.
