According to the Houston Chronicle today Paxton's office has spent nearly twice as much time working on voter fraud cases than in 2018, logging more than 22,000 hours, yet resolved just 16 prosecutions, half as many as 2 years ago. His hunt for voter fraud tops his priority list. He added 9 more law enforcement sergeants to the 8 in the election integrity unit and doubled the number of prosecutors to 4. Can you imagine if he had put a 10th of this much time into worrying about the spread of Covid in Texas?
