He already has his instagram location changed to H-Town. Let this guy do what he does best and get out of his way. He likes strippers? Fine. He drinks and smokes? Fine. #13 was the same way.
I've never seen that either! I forget how second rounders work...is it just the inverse of the first round order? Like 30th pick then selects at 31?
Yeah. 2nds are generally what you move if you’re a contender trying to fill a hole at the deadline. That’s not who we are. We need upside.
This guy needs a traveling counselor with him and some menatolin at night. Then sky is the limit for him.
What about driving around with illegal firearms and mar1juana and beating up women? Fine? What about posting about committing suicide on social media? Fine? Hope for the best here, but don't underrate his problems. The Cavaliers wanted to keep him and make it work. They know how talented he is.
exactly. No one says hey call the team with all the 2nd rounders lol having an asset pool of 1sts like okc like New Orleans is where you wanna be and you guys are gonna get there
Protected 2nd rounders like this are designed to create an asset that is unlikely to ever transfer but still satisfies the NBA's requirement that something be traded.
Have you ever been to Cleveland? That makes anyone go crazy. Well we have John Lucas here for one reason and it's not to be an assistant coach. He is a guidance counselor for his High School Coach Silas. He better earn his money here.
Yeah. As much as we criticize Harden’s off-court lifestyle, this is dramatically worse. We’re talking felony charges here. This could not only end his career, but end his life.
He's from Seattle. He will tell the DJ at Toyota Center to stop with that Travis Scott **** and play Nirvana, Pearljam, Jimi Hendrix, Kenny G.
No lie, I do get triggered (slightly) when people use the age thing. At age 20, I can say I never flipped over a SUV, or get a domestic violence charge (later dropped). Agree that if around guys like PJ, Lucas or Boogie, there may be positive influence. Outside of Lucas, PJ/Boogie are still just his co-workers. Also it's not like the Cavs didn't have any veteran leadership or coaches? Instead of relying on others to change him, I hope he mentally resets when he comes here. Have the willingness to change first. Personal responsibility starts with the person. You come to the Rockets to work, not get baby-sat.
We gave up literally the least a team is capable of giving up in a trade, and what we did give up was only required because by rule you have to send something out in a trade. They for all intents and purposes gave him to us. This is a no risk move.
