Only a MAGA Cult member would think that the Rockets will make the playoffs this season.

 

all the fans are delusional.. its what makes us fans, or even humans... anyone who thinks he knows whats really going on is delusional one way or the other

A win would be a nice start to the weekend. If not, I just want these dudes to get used to playing together within the system Silas is trying to run. Wins will come with familiarity. Go Rockets!

Harden Porter Jr bout to drop at least 20+ pts.... Anyone else excited? This is the most excited I've been in a long time. There I said it. This man has dream potential but please do try and remain calm. We are currently the 2nd worst team in the west so the tank may still be on.

 

Is he definitely playing?

What moves do you disagree with regarding Stone?

Like we really gonna complain about lack of size and go on missing Morey? The team that had no center last year and the GM that loved undersized players? Ok then.

 

I am a fan, but I also realize we are in a rebuild, therefore, I temper my expectations. This is no longer a contending team. Wins, losses don't really matter much right now (for the draft and pick swaps I suppose). We have so many injuries, new players, new system.. it's crazy to have high (or any outside of expecting them to play hard) expectations right now. I just want to see what the young guys can do and who looks like they will be a keeper or not. The rest of this season will be that way so I don't see the point of trying to say Stone is failing as GM or Silas as a coach, this will be chalked up to a transition year as we figure out who our team will be in the coming years.

Rockets always lose in Detroit and today will be no different.

 

Stone has done a good job. The team looks like **** but of course that's what happens if you trade away a top-4 player in James Harden.

It's more like fans hated Harden because the fans were stupid AF.

 

How do you think teams like the Celtics got to where they are today?

Stone is doing the right things. He's accumulating first round picks and valuable assets that are also worth picks themselves.

The true test comes in scouting and drafting. But as a Rocket fan I'm content right now with all the picks and assets we have.

There is hope in Woods and Porter Jr also. If Porter Jr can reform his character which often happens at age 20 as the frontal lobe doesn't finish developing until 25, then we already have two core pieces for the future and just need to hit a homerun on one or two draft picks in the next 4 or so seasons.

 

I don’t necessarily disagree with anything you posted here.

But claims of a for sure playoff berth this season, Wood ALREADY a top 5 center, that Dipo, Wood and Wall are good enough as a top 3 to work with. My opinion, delusional takes that some have been claiming around here.
