The price is right. You can't complain about a talented prospect you get for free. Hope he gets past his issues. Sounds like they're pretty bad.
If you have questions about the guys ability to not be a problem in the locker room, I get it. He has to prove himself. However, in a rebuilding mode you -have- to roll the dice like this. You have to make these kind of deals and signings in hopes of just finding even one gem in the rough. Anyone that's actually mad that we gave up a protected 2nd that likely won't kick in for a guy with first round talent...I don't know what to say.
He doesn't have to be a star, he just needs to be good enough that we can flip him for a first-rounder later. Besides, Harden was already a head case this year. These guys are used to problem children.
I keep hearing this. Can someone explain why John Lucas is the go to guy for broken men on this team?
Hmmmmm....idk bro, I really think he's just done an okay job. The Harden trade was okay at best. The only thing set up for the future for us are those 2026 draft picks. Woods and Tate are most likely gone in 3 years. This move is also another meh move. He hasnt done anything super amazing for me to praise him tbh. He's just done a lot of basic stuff. I get that you guys want to be positive but like.....I dont see it.
He doesn't have potential, he is a damn good player right now. Problem is, he is a complete idiot off the court. Good thing Silas has that Special Ed degree.
They moved him to the AUXILLARY dressing room, on his first game back, this was NOT well thought out. DD
