(PFT) : Omar Khan was offered the job until Jack Easterby showed up to Cal’s House.

Weaving together the all of the reports, Cal discussed Kahn with DW4 and everything was ready to go. Cal then called an audible and DW4 found out via Twitter like the rest of us. Just like he found out that they traded Hopkins.

Pancakes says the Texans interviewed five GM candidates in total, and they actually interviewed Trent Kirchner from Seattle after they interviewed Caserio, so it wasn't actually a "rush" hire at all. He also said the report that they backed out of an offer to Omar Khan was not true and was probably leaked by his agent to stir things up.

Also, Caserio had to go back to New England for a funeral over the weekend, so he submitted requests to interview coaches on his list when he got back, which included Eric Bienemy.

 

He's a mouthpiece for the Texans. Can't trust anything he says... he's been inaccurate more times than its worth counting at this point.

Still remember he guaranteed Tony Boselli would be back by week 3... this is almost 20 years of the same bullshit.

Does Cal have Down Syndrome? I'm sure it's probably just a really bad photo, but man..

 

I've met several folks with Downs and they have wonderful personalities and charisma so no, Cal does not have Downs.

I'm sure his source about the Khan thing is Cal or Easterby. The Kirchner interview was a smokescreen. They didn't fly out to pick Casserio up just to interview him.

Man, I feel so bad for laughing at this as much as I did. But in all seriousness, Cal is the worst combination of closed-minded, dim-witted, wealthy, and obstinate.
