This is what I don't get. The pipeline IMPORTS FOREIGN OIL! Not only that but it's trashy oil sands. What happened to energy independence?
It is a straightforward question why don’t you answer it. Do you think Biden is the legitimate president?
None of those links provided updated info. Looks like either you cannot read or your ability to digest information is seriously lacking. The crazy part is you came in here complaining what I posted was 7 years old yet your info is even older. Ok indeed bub.
There is debate about the long term profitability of the XL pipeline. I honestly do not know enough about the negative externality costs associated with it to determine whether it is worth it in 2021. I can tell you that this isn't as big an issue as in the past though.
It's a money grab for Canada and oil refineries and not much of one anymore since the oil glut. The employment numbers are way out of whack also.
I did. What part of "I have doubts about the legitimacy of this election" was too difficult to understand?
That is not a yes or no answer. Do you believe Biden is the legitimate President of the United States? Yes or No.
I don't have to answer your question in a yes or no fashion, you're not taking my deposition, you don't make the rules. I get to explain my thoughts. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. I don't know, because I do not know if the election was compromised. I think it might have been, and I would have liked to have seen it investigated more to be fully sure. PS - The revocation of the Keystone Pipeline is bad for American jobs, in my opinion. That's the point of my posting in this thread and I will re-direct to that every time. You can argue about the election elsewhere.
I have no problem with pipelines.. ..as long as they don't break Treaties and run across Sacred Native American lands
This is largely symbolic move by the Biden industry. Canadian oil sands is extremely uneconomical and is worse off than many of the deep water oil due to the supply glut. Transporting Canadian oil to some Midwest refineries and then to the gulf coast is costly, especially when you consider how much shale has boomed in Texas and the Great Plains. How Biden treats natural gas will be most telling about how the Dems are moving forward. I'm "pro gas" and "pro green new deal" which I just view a pragmatic realism.
The US trade war under Trump was bad for the O&G industry and for American jobs.... What's so different now? Both moves cost American jobs in one area....
The fact that you still question the legitimacy of the most closely monitored and litigated presidential election in US history, an election that Trump's own election security experts called "the most secure in American history", means you are a conspiracy loon. Your ability to perceive reality is severely compromised. And therefore your views on just about any topic are worthless. That is the relevance of the election to this thread.
Exactly, ironically America's energy independence killed the pipeline. We frack we don't need that heavy expensive to refine Canadian B.S. This thread is sooo dated.
You are entitled to your opinion. If you have that kind of attitude that's fine, go ahead and paint with a broad brush on all topics purely on the basis that I have concerns about the election, that's your choice. I think your views are worthless too.
