The raging inferiority complex coming off people like this dude and tinman is just really weird.

Right? It's weird that people think this has nothing to do with corporate money grab, and it's just all for the glory of the Lone Star State.

I mean, for example, are tankers flagged in Liberia because the Dutch love their culture?

So it’s $350 to see chappelle in Austin
I want to go but I’d rather invest $350 in Tesla stock

I don't have all day, but I'll provide a few about California.

    1. Highest or second-highest COVID-19 rate of any state despite massive shutdowns.
2.. Celebrities with absolutely no perspective and completely disconnected to real life.
    3. The Kardashians.
    4. The Los Angeles Dodgers
    5. The Los Angeles Lakers
    6. The Oakland Athletics
    7. The Golden State Warriors
    8. Smog/Pollution in LA is terrible. One of the worst in the country if not the worst.
    9. Overpriced.
    10. Income Taxes

    Some Positives:
    1. Yosemite
    2. Sierra Nevadas
    3. Lake Tahoe
    4. San Diego Zoo
    5. Weed

It's not all bad, but I have no interest in hearing a Californian b**** and moan, and then essentially criticize Texas in the same article.

It's 100% this. Is there someone that actually doesn't think that...?

Part of the glory of the Lone Star State is our income tax laws and appeal to businesses.

    ? which article?
in the D&D you have east coast people saying the west coast is better while never going to texas or california.
but that's clutchfans, you have people who think they know stuff then you have people who really know stuff.

you can't have a vegan being a bbq judge. that's just not how it works.

The OP article about Elon moving to Texas from a California journalist perspective.

i don't see anything wrong with that article, it just points out all the events that happened .
businesses are leaving California for the same reasons, this was just more public because of the company and ceo.

and it's just not texas, colorado, florida, nevada, tennessee are getting companies migrating

Fair enough. I tried reading the whole thing, but I got half way thru it and despite the multiple qualifiers that their feeling is "good riddance", it came off as whiny to me.
