I definitely feel your frustration. My issue is Boogie and Bmac should never be on the floor at the same time. Earlier in the season Boogie looked alright was because we had all dawgs on the floor with him i.e. (Tate, Wood and Brown). But too many holes on defense when Bmac and Boogie are out there together.
Bmac was only here to soak up open looks for 3s. Sucks for him, he doesn't get those anymore and he can't do anything else on the floor literally Cousins, well hes been done for awhile. hes even terrible as a backup
Trade McLemore to the Nets as he would be valuable there as Harden and perhaps Kyrie and Durant could feed him some open shots. Get a second or virtually anyone on their roster.
Before his ejection, he averaged 5 ppg and 3.5 rpg on 36% shooting. That's not really playing well, but it is better than the terrible play we have seen since then. :Edit: Cousins actually did play well in the preseason but has been really bad since then. Preseason #s: 10 ppg, 7 rpg, 50% FG and 1.7 bpg.
Mac needs to play next to an all-star PG for him to unlock his shooting potential because he's a huge net negative on defense. Boogie is unsalvageable, he shouldn't be getting minutes at all. I'd keep him on the team to satisfy Wall (until we trade him) but Stone should have a talk with him about permanently being a bench cheerleader.
This. McLemore (joke avatar aside) is just like Gerald Green, or a poor man's Lou Williams. If they make their first shot, unleash them, if they miss, play your low upside defensive specialist.
McLemore needs to get some plays called and adjust to being allowed to take 2s now, but Green would be a dream with his size.
