pathetic 9 pts a qrt. come back home and regroup. with this bunch of turnover machines, how can you win? no team play at all in this qrt, what a mess.

 

Where is the sense of urgency?

Where is the pride?

I was so proud of the Rockets for the guts they showed in coming back from 10 down in Game 4, and now they're playing like they don't care.

It's just so damned frustrating watching this.

Once there were 2 minutes left in the 3rd you just knew what was going to happen -- blowout city.

The ironic thing is that the final score (and final tally in the series) won't reflect just how winnable this game was.

Remember how many chances we had to get the lead to 11 in the 1st? Instead, the Lakers get it to 7 -- a 4 point swing -- and quickly cut it to 2.

We should've been up 15 after the damn first quarter.

No kidding. I will root with ALL MY HEART for ANY team playing the Lakers from here on out. Whatever it takes to insure that Karl Malone NEVER wins a championship!

Did you expect anything different?? At least his trade value went up eventhough I now disagree that we should not trade him. This is not all his fault....if Yao would freaking help a bit, we would have done better......do you really think Yao is ready to lead this team!!! Yeah right.

 

Guys, QUIT BLAMING THE REFS, it's really getting old. The entire team came out, have played horribly the entire game, with the exception of Mobley in the first quarter. We were luck to be close at the half, but we didn't take advantage, instead we laid down. Put the blame where it belongs, on the shoulders of the entire team.

The Rocket's intensity is pathetic... everything is against them and they can't dig up a little intensity. Bench everyone, and bring in the second team. I'm sickened.

And to think I was expecting a fight tonight. Instead I see Cato lifting Malone off the floor.

Yao couldn't take advantage of Shaq's bad knee, pathetic.

 

If the Lakers play like they did in the first quarter of this game against the Spurs, they'll be down 20 after one. The Spurs won't commit 7 TOs in the first quarter to let them back into the game.

The Lakers can't beat a team that executes. If the Rockets execute, they win this series.

Spurs won't make the same mistakes.

 

yea yao reallly stinks ... hope he spends sometime thjis off season and gets more aGRESSIVe.. wtf is wrong with him... i blame his parents too!! they are too protective. he's like a big kid off hte court..

 

If you are going down atleast you going down swinging. Too bad the Rockets just put their head down and let the fakers beat them whatever way they want. Yao is the biggest softie ever.

 

And so begins another long summer of Yao fans versus SF fans. At least if one of them played well then one side would have to be silent. The way this game(series) ended it's gonna get ugly the next few months cuz both sides have tons of ammo.
