Turns out defense and depth may be a little important.

Kyrie literally doesn't pass the ball at all. He reminds me of Wall. Does a lot of dribbling and jacks up a shot when there's not enough time left on the clock. At least when Harden does it, he can more than likely make a pass happen. Kyrie doesn't have the same passing IQ as Harden.

I know they need chemistry and all, but if this is going to work, you need to let Harden run the point.

Their D is even worse than I thought, some of it is just effort...no energy on close outs. Especially KD.

Wow I saw a harden flash cut to the free throw line to recieve the ball.

He missed the pass to the cutter under the rim but made the play to the corner for the wide open 3.

He needs to take more shots, though I’m wondering if that is by design because of the zone.

Kyrie is a very good player, but he's not that great of a playmaker. He can iso, score his 3pt shots, layups and whatnot. He also doesn't get many free throws. But the Nets need someone who is willing to make plays happen. Harden can score pass, get free throws, shoot the 3pt line, lay it up and dunk. In other words, he can make things happen from anywhere.

Nets have some nice plays for Durant to get the ball on the move.
    Agreed.

He had the shot in the play I mentioned too but waited (plus midrange lol).

I think it's more adjustment and not having the ball as much. When you're use to having the ball a certain amount of time, having it suddenly cut by 30-50% will take some getting used to. Especially for ball dominant players.

That's what makes Durant such an elite offensive player who fits every team. Dude literally only uses around 4 minutes of ball time to score.

Jarrett Allen would have been perfect for the Harden Nets.

Saying it now.... if the Nets keep the current team, they are not winning the championship. They have no paint defense at all. Jordan was also getting bullied by Drummond.

They have a good offense, but if their shots are not falling, they've got no defense to bail them out.
