    Are we sure this time??

If true, I am happy he's back, but this just shows how sloppy, irresponsible, and reckless these national journalists have become. Screw em all.

This is the deal I didn't think Click would make as I expected 3 years for Brantley. Very happy for this move.

I hope so. It was pretty sad earlier to see Springer gone and then see a tweet (which seems false now) that Brantley was gone too less than an hour later.

Something I am more than happy to be wrong about :)

This has got to be a good morale boost for the locker room. Brantley so well liked and calm. Still need someone to take George's infectious energy of the lockerroom like Jake Marisnick. Can't let club Astros die with the subtractions of Springer and Reddick. Astros played way too tight last season and needed someone to lighten them up a little although even Springer wasn't helping in that department last season.

Springer definitely seemed more serious last season than ever before understandable due to covid, cheating scandal, and contract year. I am hoping the Astros can play a little looser like they did in the playoffs but still Bregman (hitting) and Altuve (fielding) were way too tight and lost their swagger. Need them to get that swagger back if we want to make another run at it. Can't let young guys like Alvarez and Tucker feed off of the tightness that plagued us at times last season.

Finally. After 30 straight days of raining turds, we see a brief rainbow in the sky.

Woah, talk about a pleasant twist. I for sure thought he was gone. Welcome back Brantley! Much deserved.

Wow. Saw something last night about Springer recruiting Brantley.

    Big relief.

    Freaking LOVE Brantley resigning!!

    What a turn of events.

Looking like he signed with Toronto and then seeing Berman reporting he resigns with the 'Stros!!

    A lineup of...

    Altuve
    Brantley
    Bregman
    Alvarez
    Correa
    Tucker
    Gurriel
    CF
    Maldy

That lineup in whatever variation Dusty would roll out is not too shabby at all.

Good balance (R/L), like Bregs said in '17, we'll look back on that team and never believe we had that much talent on one team at the same time. Hope the organization can find someone who can contribute in the field/at the plate for CF. Would further lengthen the lineup... especially if Yuli is healthy and finds his stroke.
