It would be tempting, but it would depend on the stop gap QB. Only reason I like the 2. For one we can’t get Trevor, but Zach Wilson I think will be a stud, and Fields could be a stud too. I like this QB class
Really? Wilson over Fields? BYU competition vs OSU?? I think Fields would be the guy for me - I wont hold the BCS stinker against him.

I like this kid, fits the Deshaun, Mahomes, Rodgers, Russell, Allen mold. Big time arm, great accuracy, great athleticism and he’s a gamer. I just worry about Fields being too limited passing the ball, similar to Lamar. Elite athlete and strong arm, but I like QBs that are pinpoint with their throws, like Watson this year.

Yea I dont dislike him. I should have learned using this precise logic when evaluating Mahomes and Watson and giving Deshaun the nod due to the competition he played against, and Mahomes has shown me he belongs regardless of the cupcake TT schedule he played in college.
I have my theories on what Watson is doing. I read a lot of the tea leaves. I have no sources. When I get more time, I'll make a long post about it. I don't think he's going anywhere, if Cal doesn't want him to. I think, as a fan, we should all appreciate the hell out of this guy. I think those that want to trade and rebuild are jaded, typical Texans fans, and it's laughable. Sorry guys. You can draft five can't miss QBs, and none of them will be like this guy, potentially.
