Religious bigotry isn't really my thing, sorry if it's yours.

Also, that's not a thing that is happening.

I think a lot of fans feel this way at this point. It's pathetic how our team is right now with leadership.

Andrew Luck is DONE with football. He’s a smart guy who has many other interests and a ton of money. Why risk it?

I dont believe Cal is forcing his religious beliefs on Watson. In fact before Watson became a star he was considered to be very religious. Used to go speak at churches and stuff.

There is a difference between being raised Christian and wanting conserice religious morals to be instilled in you at work.

If a nfl franchise hired a iman as a character coach and the imam used his religious beliefs to "character coach" the players, you would think that's okay? How would the non Muslims on the team feel? If your employer made you sit through religous sessions with an imam, would you find that odd and troubling?

    Is that actually happening?

Yes. That's happening. Easterby is seen as the morality head figure of the team and his morality is Evangelical Christianity. Remember his only "skillset" that he provides to his team is being a preacher. That has been his niche his entire NFL career.

I understand his role, chaplains roles in general.
You were claiming that they were being forced to go to essentially a Christian church service, is that accurate? Or just your thoughts?

If you are the character coach, then you are the character coach for all players on the team. If you have disciplinary issues, whether you are atheist or Christian, he's going to use his Christianity to base his morality preaching on you. Hence why Deandre Hopkins to him was a cancer because he had "multiple baby mamas".

If I'm running a company that tries not to create unnecessary tension, I'm not going to hire a preacher to be a morality coach for my employees. I'm chosing a religion for my employees and that's not fair.

If you were a true fan on the Texans.

You would boycott the team until new ownership if Deshaun was traded. The McNair’s deserve praise for bringing the team back, but that’s it. Things won’t get better until Cal is completely removed from any entity that has anything to do with the Texans.

I’m not trying to defend Easterby or Cal. But what you’re saying, didn’t actually happen.
He’s not leading a group of guys on a Christian church service.
Almost every team in the league has a chaplain and character coach that leads prayers and things of that nature. None of it is mandatory.
I was just wondering if you actually saw reports that it was being forced or just inferring.

If you are basing player personnel decisions on your religious opinions on morality than you are forcing it on all the employees and not just the ones who chose it.

Is there a atheist character coach for players who don't believe in Christianity? How are they catering to the non-Christians in a team?

Work and religion never mic well.

I don’t think I’ve seen them base personnel decisions based off faith either.

I agree with what you’re saying, I was just wondering if you actually saw proof of it or just opinion.

There are multiple examples of people being forced out due to not being "cultural fits" including Deandre Hopkins.

That was hearsay too wasn’t it?
O’Brien had an issue with his practice habits, or Easterby had a problem with his personal life.
I’d probably say OB did that one.
Either way it’s opinion and there is no concrete proof.
I was just wondering if you had that.

If any of these thing were happening I would agree with you but they're not.

If you owned a company, would you want the company to be founded in your belief systems.
