Cleveland did the very same thing when they traded for Andre Drummond with Tristan Thompson and Kevin Love already on the team. Cavs are unable to sign the best FA so they trade for talent that is undervalued but still on contracts with decent length. And Drummond is still limited to teams that do not espouse modern basketball, 3's and layups.
Because we are stuck with him. Don’t act like if we could cut him and his contract without consequence he would still be on the team. His 40 million a year would go a long way to helping fix the team. He is nothing more than paper.
This is the same knee that had the ACL tear as well as the same leg that had the Achilles rapture. We are going to have to learn how to win without Wall. If winning is even what we are trying to do at this point.
Wait a minute ... I thought only D'Antoni plays his starters and returning from injury players too many minutes?
Word. We’re on full tank/rebuild mode. I wanna see Wood and Jones put together good performances and get their trade values up or turn into valid superstars early.
that's exactly what I wrote in my post. IT IS NORMAL and everybody after acl/achilles/meniscus/whatever got to treat it like that. You can play through it but then you Derrick Rose. It is about endurance and knee swelling from too much work too early after surgery - to be fully healed 100% it takes 2-3 years no matter how rich you are. Good thing is now they probably can narrow down his "max" minutes. He was really playing heavy load
It's day to day because they are looking at his knee everyday and see if it's still swollen. As I said earlier it can get better in 2 days or 3 weeks but better play it safe
