In playoff games and elimination games I'd guess it's more normal than in the regular season.

he had so much space once he blew by his defender that he was able to get off a floater pretty much uncontested all game because no one is helping off the likes of Durant or Harris

meanwhile in Houston he’s getting doubled at half court and the paint is clogged because spacing created via stars and snipers is different from spacing provided by limited role players and bricklayers

So his volume went down, but his overall field goal shooting went up...

    What's your argument again?

He said Harden killed Lu Dort and the Thunder. He averaged 30ppg on 47 percent shooting. I think that qualifies as killed.

I guess it’s that OKC was successful in holding Harden to only 30 ppg on 47% shooting instead of 35?

No, they were a failure in holding him five points below his average.

If I hold you give points below your average then obviously I got killed.

Fair point. I think it'll be pretty damn tough especially without Kyrie out there. If Kyrie is out there I'd overplay Harden and make him work to get the ball and let Kyrie take all the shots he wants. Goad him into playing hero ball.

so you'd double Harden and KD and leave Kyrie plus 2 other play 3 on 1?

You can’t do that anymore with KD and Kyrie on the team to take the pressure off loooo

Ha, no. I would definitely double Harden or Durant on drives and use Kyrie's man to do the doubling if possible. Give Kyrie as many shots as he wants.

easier said than done...Kyrie since he’s been in BK has averaged 27 on 49/40/94 shooting splits

he is an elite shooter and shot creator...this isn’t John Wall or Westbrick who u can leave no problem to go overplay Harden or KD

and Harden and KD will still go off

The best way to beat the Nets is to exploit their defense and try to kill them on the boards and rebounding.

Harden/Durant/Irving is just about the best trio ever if they are all healthy and on the same page.

The NETS still have their full MLE and I believe a trade exception so they will add to this team.

Also at the deadline I expect them to trade Landry Shamet for a player that fits their needs better.

They were trying very hard to keep Allen as well but couldn't quite get all the assets needed.

Nets will also have plenty of interest from players in the buyout market when the time comes
