Less than a week ago, he was a "fat, out of shape, troublemaking bum, that was under-achieving by not hitting 30 pts for a few games." Now he's the media darling.

Until he's not. Once the luster wears off, we know what happens. These media guys have no shame.

    They only care about viewership

It really hurts people here when I tell them these multimillionaire people on TV are just there to make money

    SHOCKING

Yeah, I watched him play off-ball. It looked really the same... I’ve never seen anyone so flat footed. Anyway... I guess no one watches full games these days except for a few diehards. This is the nba production.

We didn't... We started losing immediately with Westbrook

Harden is doing exactly what he has always done. The only difference is he is surrounded by talent and shooters. It's pretty amazing what Kyrie can do with all that space that Harden creates just by standing out of the way. Kyrie can pretty much dribble where ever he wants without any help defenders until he gets almost to the rim. Harden gets two extra assists a game just by getting to pass to Harris vs Gordon.

I peeked at Brooklyn’s stats and they have some real flamethrowers on that team.

KD is shooting 43% from deep on 6 attempts/game
    Kyrie 44% on 7 attempts
Joe Harris 49% on 6.5 attempts
Jeff Green 42% on 3.5 attempts

Harden himself is 40% on 7 attempts...

it’s amazing we never really had a true SNIPER in our rotation during Harden’s run here. I hate the way the Harden era ended. We over-achieved given our relative lack of talent compared to other contenders but look like chokers since we continued to lose so close to the mountaintop.

Quotes like this makes me believe he really rather would have won in Houston and proved people wrong by winning here, instead he will settle for the media flip and a ring to go with it.

Precisely. He gave everything, swapping some offense for defense or ball movement was not the problem. Championship caliber sidekicks will score the ball when you take your man 30 feet away from the basket.

People here act like they have amnesia, as if Paul wasn't MURDERING people in the only season he was in shape when Harden was guarded away from the basket.

All of Durant and LeBron's sidekicks would score at an elite rate in that circumstance and it's common. No one will even mention it ever again except bitter rockets fans.

It’s ridiculous. They gush over him the whole game now. Sports media is just as biased as political media.

Its sort of like the WWF, we all know who is going to win it all in the end.... Seems like they are just building him up so LeBron cant break him down and everything looks more incredible for The Lakers... Hope Harden wins it all this time and ruins the narritive...
