Can he rebound, defend or hit 3's?

Could he fit with other younger guys?

House replacement? Or just a equal a head case?

This is a tough one. I am usually all for buying low on talented players.

However Porter has a long history of problems dating back to high school where he was suspended, he was suspended in college and now has been suspended in the NBA.

If the cost is a second rounder or someone like Danuel House (another head case) then I can see the appeal. I would not personally give up a #1 pick for him though.......... also with what has already happened with this organization over the last 12 months, it might be best left to Coach Silas to see if he really even wants to deal with this.

had similar issues at usc, including suspensions, domestic violence accusations recently, weapon and weed (lol) arrest this past year, both charges dropped though, dad was gunned down, when he was very young, while trying to help someone who was getting attacked, has post on insta some cryptic, morbid type **** as well, "do you ever wish to see end of your time..." or something like that.

dude needs a role model quick or it won't end well. he's had a crazy life, maybe someone like Wall (been through some **** too) could help out the young fella.

-edit- sounds like a perfect project for John Lucas right?

Imagine a regular Joe applying for a corporate job and they do background checks and this kind of rap sheet turn up.

I don't mind having a project, but reading things like weapon and a hot temper. Do they need a mental evaluation on this guy. If Rockets org unintentionally triggers him in anyway, is he gonna turn postal in the lockeroom?

if ppl want to see the worst case scenario of what could've happened with javaris crittenton vs gil arenas... then sure, trade for kevin porter jr.

    i personally would rather not.

Is this our new Terrence Williams / Johnny Flynn, looking for someone with “star potential” even if they have character / work ethic issues?

nah. it's more like "let's destroy our locker room and be the first team in nba history to have a player murder a teammate" type of thing.

twill and johnny flynn weren't actual severe mental headcase types. they just sucked at basketball.

A lottery team like the Cavs, who tank and build through the draft. One year and they're ready to part ways with their 2019 1st round pick. That in itself is a red flag.

Not saying we don't evaluate but due diligence is needed.

If one sees a nice sofa thrown out on the curb, best check for bed bugs if interested.

This is an alternative version of calling someone Hitler. Trivializing something extremely meaningful just to win a petty argument.

Sure, bargain bin headcases are fun to watch. Let's go.

Then you realize PJ's initials are actually A.L.T. No P.J. about it.

I hope Stone can grab Sekou. He's young, talented and in the Pistons' doghouse for some reason. He is known to be a hard worker.

Would be a much better buy low candidate assuming he doesn't have character issues. Would be awesome if we could trade house for someone like this that is super young and has some upside. Definitely need fliers like this but Stone will likely wait to see what he has over these next 2 months before pulling the trigger on these high upside/tanking kind of moves.
