Oladipo is an expiring contract. Nobody is giving up more than a heavily protected first round pick for him.
Guys are scrubs until they aren't. Unfortunately, now we are WAY behind in player development, integration and chemistry. But sure, the excuses get old and losing doesn't feel any better right now than any other. But Wall didn't play and its Oladipo's first game. And whats key to me, is these are the two primary guys (ball handlers) responsible for making the other guys better. If and when these two guys figure it out, the scrubs might morph into diamonds. Well, a couple of them maybe
Why are people complaining so much? You serious? Wood and Oladipo both had over 30 and the final score was honestly a lot closer than the game suggests. We were being blown out for most of the game. Cousins is trash. Wall can't seem to stay healthy. On top of all that, we lost to the Bulls. Their best player is either Zach Lavine or Lauri Markkanen. Think about all of that for a second, and then ask why people are complaining so much.
Every coach has this one player they are addicted to...a drug they can't seem to quit. Nwaba isn't bad but he's obviously a bench spark guy.
Because there’s no clear defensive plan. The Rockets were scrambling most of the night because they didn’t know when they should switch or not. Silas needs to get it together because the defense has been trash almost every game.
Wood, Tucker, Nwaba, Oladipo, Wall with the bench of Gordon, Cousins, Brown, Tate, and Jones. When in the world is this team going to have all players back?! When one returns, someone else gets injured.
Bulls were smacking up the Mavs not too long ago and have some wins over good teams. They almost beat the Lakers and Clippers and beat the Blazers. They've played a lot better this year. That said, Rockets could have won this game but the Bulls are a lot better than they seem to be.
I hope the media question Silas more on his rotation choices. His rotations currently are not setting up the team for success overall.
BMac and Tucker are no help on offense. And if the team is giving up 125 points, then this defense is fvcked up. And Silas is still clueless with his rotations.
I give it 2-3 years. Who knows? Personally I enjoy watching players develop. Whether they are drafted, undrafted, or no names who just need the right opportunity.
