I think the last tweet was specifically about the eagles?

That is a big tell that EB (or Joe Brady?) is the presumptive head coach.

Nope. Head coaching jobs in the NFL are not readily available.

    https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelp...c-bieniemys-agent-mean-eagles-coaching-search

An odd tweet from the agency that represents Eric Bieniemy alluded to the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator no longer being a candidate for the Eagles’ head coaching job and included an unsubstantiated claim that the team has already chosen Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels as Doug Pederson’s replacement.

Goal Line Football, the agency that represents Bieniemy, tweeted Monday morning on Martin Luther King Day that the “NFL should be ashamed at this point with only 2 jobs remaining (one after Eagles hire JM) … zero black coach hires or even 2nd interviews.”

That was early in the morning maybe they didn’t get word about interview yet.

And I think we interviewed Frazier twice and he’s a legit chance to get hired reportedly at least.

And if not then Joe Brady?

The other narrative is local sports perspectives. Not very positive either, but I haven’t heard a single person that’s plugged into the situation claim wildly that “Deshaun Watson will never play for the Texans again” like Dan Run Out of the Back of the Endzone Orlovsky.

Today appears to be a good day so far. *knocks on wood*

Daboll reported to be staying in Buffalo. Eberflus interviewed Saturday (despite the national media previously painting that as OMFG CLICKPORN COACHING CANDIDATE HATES TEXANS AND TOLD THEM TO **** OFF!!! ROFL LOL SMH YASSSS - didn’t hear much reported over the weekend on that *rolls eyes*). And Bieniemy is interviewing today.

I would be very happy with either of those two, and Deshaun has specifically spoken highly of both of them. Obviously they can still clown this up. But I am cautiously hopeful right now.

As I said before, the Texans have earned all the criticism they have received. They deserve criticism. But there is a difference between the legitimate criticism and the selective piling on that national media types with specific agendas and narratives that they want to push are doing.

The consensus of what? Posters in forums? Sports media? What makes you think that more uninformed opinions make a "consensus" informed? Also, who is sticking with the team? It's hard to find pro-team comments, only "wait and see" comments.

Clown this head coaching process up? Like how?

    [BREAKING]

Ladies and Gentlemen, announcing the Head Coach of your 2021 Houston Texans:

Right but none of the local guys have unequivocally shut down these reports either. Believe McClain is the only one that said Watson wouldn’t get traded but that was more of his opinion than anything else. But to me, the fact that neither side has yet to refute these reports is a big concern. I want to believe it’s all BS
and things aren’t as dire as they seem. But no one of note is really offering a different narrative at this point.

I will say that it does seem like DW4 is waiting to see how the coaching hire shakes out which should be seen as a positive. However with Cal and Easterby, we simply have no idea how things will ultimately turn out.

Perhaps we are being offered too many. Teams and players should not air grievances in public nor respond to them.

Even given that a star player is upset, times change and everyone benefits from perspective. Hakeem won a championship in Houston not long after irreparable harm had been done to his relationship with the owner, irreparable harm that was apparently repaired over a single plane ride.

Everyone should just take a breath, there's always time tomorrow to quit following the team in protest, or in the case @donkeypunch masturbate to thoughts of incest.

EB is not the answer but if thats what it takes to keep DW Im all for it. Wouldnt mind keeping Tim Kelly around as well.

What if Eb is hired, DW still gets traded, leasterby stays and then leaves in a month cause his life in Houston is unbearable? That would be in line with everything texans.

Is @houstonfbpodguy, the guy that was leading the march earlier today?

True.. my only hope is there been some conversations with EB an Deshaun people previous, hence why he took the interview. I can only hope as I said, but will see.
