The Bieniemy interview is mere window dressing designed to satisfy the Rooney Rule and to give the "appearance" of valuing Deshaun's POV. It's all BS. The new Texans' "culture" has no place for a black man to be in such a position. Plus, Bieniemy simply is not Easterby's preferred type of "Negro".
?? ok. They'd already satisfied the Rooney rule with Caldwell, Lewis, and Frazier. And they've also interviewed guys who worked with or previously worked with EB... its all a ruse?
I guess I'm old enough to remember the 2020 Houston Texans' season, in which a black man was the head coach for the majority of the season. I think you need a timeout.
that will be coming in due time recall that stuff like this was being reported in the early stages of the Harden saga
He apparently was requesting a trade the year before, then they got him Westbrook. In fact the Harden situation could be a case lesson to not give your superstar whatever he wants. But in the end, completely unique and independent situations in two different sports with players with vastly different demeanors.
watson is outta here. I’m already preparing for Adam Clanton to show his true colors like he did with harden. These local sports radio are paid to say nice things about the teams players. Once that player is traded all bets are off
Guys, an example of another similar situation isn't a pattern. I'm betting Watson stays Texans have too much leverage. Watson isn't going to sit out entire seasons and he isn't going to sabotage the team when playing because it's in his self interest regardless of how bad the franchise he is on to play well because I'm sure he cares about having another contract after the current one.
