One area Tillman was right on was needing to reset the culture. I am perfectly fine with the Harden era over, enjoyed it at times....but once they went ALL in on Harden (moving CP3) I knew it was over. DD
Yeah, we’ll see. My best guess is Harden will be the primary playmaker, Durant will be the primary scorer (and lead the team in scoring), and Kyrie will settle in to more of the role he had playing alongside LeBron. And it will be perceived as Durant’s team rather than Harden’s.
Rockets fans still think Houston a prime destination when these odds are stacked against them. Now we get to see how soon our Harden replacement will come. Fingers Crossed!!
not if harden has more games like he had in his debut. also i have nba 2k21 on ps4 and harden is rated as the best player on the nets
this is what i've heard from unrelenting harden haters over the past couple days: -- it was only against a crappy ORL team -- look how bad the Nets defense is with harden they gave up all those points -- KD carried the load proving harden can't do it as the #1 option -- reg season don't matter he'll still crash in the playoffs -- he has an eating disorder that's why he's fat -- he doesn't play defense at all and is a selfish dribbler -- he still can't play off ball and will have major problems when kyrie returns -- he got too many FT's
Probably because Durant is coming off a major injury and I think there were some questions about how good he would be heading into this season.
It's the reason why the mainstream media pushes these guys to go to major market cities. Its easier for them to have access to them and puts money in their pockets. The media definitely has a bias
like i said if harden has more occuring games like he had in his debut, then their is no way you look at it as durants team. Durant has only played 9 career games as a brooklyn net. Its not like kd joining curry after they wont 67 and 73 games. Durant is just as new to the nets as harden is
One way to judge it might be by MVP votes. Assuming neither miss a ton of time with injury, I would bet that Durant gets more MVP consideration than Harden by season’s end (neither is likely to get first place votes in that scenario).
Reset the culture to what? When has "culture" ever won anything? They reset the "culture" in Miami and Cleve once Lebron left and what have they won?
