James Harden is very, very, very good, man.. That was lightning in a bottle type sh*t right there.

You dont develop players that wreck the NBA every year, you hope to draft them.

and the way he lulls defenders either sleep or foul him

and have the refs call bogus fouls

and the league change the rules multiple times

there's something about his beard and weight

I can see Tilman selling high draft picks for cash/LTS

There aren't going to be any high draft picks unless Durant and Harden fall off a cliff.

Even less so do you trade for said player at an extremely depressed value due to him being a 6th man

There won't be another James Harden for the Rockets

    What's that supposed to mean?

Kyrie is a major variable in this equation. Nook's analysis was spot on if Harden and Durant were the only two major variables to consider. They'll need Kyrie. Like it or not.

They really need Kyrie to play the SG position much like he did in Cleveland. Kyrie was PG in name only and Lebron was the point guard. I hate to say it since I can't stand Kyrie but Kyrie is the perfect backcourt running mate next to Harden. Kyrie can shoot and can definitely abuse defenses if they want to play 3 on 4 to double on Harden. If they cover Harden out to 30 feet, Durant and Kyrie would kill with all that space.

Very few fans actually wanted Harden to do bad for the Rockets. Don't confuse criticism with wishing the guy do bad for the team. Some posters wanted to get rid of Harden because they undervalued Harden and actually believed the Rockets would be better off without him. That is wrong but not because they are traitors.

Rooting for another team whose success means the diminishing of our value, however, is openly anti-Rockets.

howbout fans who appreciate harden and believe he was their best chance and did everything physically possible for the Rockets to be a contender for 10 years?
Is it bad to see him do well in another team?

Try not being a petty child

A few draft picks down the road mean nothing. Even in the odd chance that those picks ever end up amounting to anything, just remember that this ownership and front office have shown no sign of ever being willing to spend on the talent required to contend for a championship. Whoever we draft will be wasted all the same. This franchise is decades away from being relevant again

Not being petty. I am just hoping the best for the team I have been rooting for over 4 decades.

If you think the Rockets are so rotten you prefer to root for another team over the Rockets, go right ahead. It's not a crime.
