I was watching the video snippet on CNN shot by the new yorker.

A group of folks are going thru the senator desks and taking photos of the documents. one of them says, "there got to be something here we can use against these scumbags !!!"
These guys really believe it...I mean really believe it. That is surreal. I just thought they were using Trump as ruse for their own prejudices but majority of them really believed Trump.

One of them looks into Cruz's objection to Arizona letter and gets riled up. He see the word objection and says He was going to sell us all along. Then they all read it again and realize what it really said..

If we get beyond the initial shock, there is a lot of comedic gold

FBI investigating whether woman stole laptop from Pelosi's office to sell it to Russia

The FBI is investigating evidence that a woman who entered the Capitol on Jan. 6 stole a laptop or hard drive from Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office and intended to sell it to Russians.

The bizarre claim, which the FBI emphasized remains under investigation, was included in an affidavit describing the criminal case against Riley June Williams, a Pennsylvania woman who was seen in footage of the Jan. 6 insurrection in area of the Capitol near Pelosi's office.

according to the affidavit, which was signed Sunday and posted publicly after 9 p.m.. "According to local law enforcement officers in Harrisburg, WILLIAMS’ mother stated that WILLIAMS packed a bag and left her home and told her mother she would be gone for a couple of weeks. WILLIAMS did not provide her mother any information about her intended destination."​

 

Boebert doesn't even have a high school diploma - that should be a requirement to serve.....

Would it be even remotely possible to require things like a high school degree? I know the Civics exam idea would be DOA -- "liberal bias" and "elitism," don't you know.

It's absurd b/c we have to pass tests to drive a car, but you require nothing but a twitter account and slogans to drive a powerful country.

Considering that she probably is an active participant in a coup who gave "tours" if I was her constituent I would already be gathering support to start the process to send her home. What embarassment to be represented by this...tool.

 

Reffitt, the Texas man busted for his alleged involvement in the attack, also had extremist ties, the FBI said. Reffitt attended the riot in a helmet outfitted with a camera, and what appeared to be a tactical vest, according to pictures included in court filings.

According to prosecutors, Reffitt was part of the Texas Freedom Fighters, a militant group that lobbies to protect Confederate symbols, and has spent the past weeks on Twitter accusing the left of being the real rioters.

Reffitt allegedly admitted to his family that he’d participated in the attacks, telling the family that “we” (likely the TFF, according to a criminal filing) had “stormed the Capitol.” He also allegedly told family that he’d brought a gun with him to D.C.

Reffitt’s children allegedly were “disturbed” by his “extreme” statements. When they expressed alarm, he allegedly told them that “if you turn me in, you’re a traitor and you know what happens to traitors...traitors get shot.”

His wife provided information on the fight to investigators.

The fact she was voted in the first place, a lady with no valuable work experience and a ged, just because she's sexually attractive and walks around with a gun means there will never be accountability from her district. The accountability has to occur from her peers in congress.

She isn't going to be voted out for being an edgelord bimbo. Her voters wanted that.

 

This in bold goes a long way.

But God, these people have wormed into Congress.

 

Boebert represents the 3rd District of CO which covers the western half of CO. It's Republican but not that Republican with Trump only carrying it 52% to 46%. Boebert won it by a similar measure. This isn't quite a safe seat and if recall in CO is just simple majority she could be a prime target.

Majorie Taylor-Greene's 14th District of GA isn't close. I really doubt she could recalled or likely defeated by a Democrat in the next election.

 

I'm just surprised a purple district like that voted in someone like her. How is that possible?
