I think the Rockets shouldn't waste there time on Webber and re-sign Mo Tay before he heads out of town on us. Then we will have no one. Where's Charles Jones and Pig Miller when you need them; [IMG]

I really don't why he would want to go to Indiana were much better than them.Does he expect the lakers to be in the finals everytime for the next 7 years.

I can see why he would want to play in the East and why he would want to play with his boy, Jalen, but what about the lack of a center?

I was just stating that someone posted this somewhere else. I am not disagreeing about the tie with Houston. It just bothers some of us when the same thing is posted more than once.

Indiana does have a very nice young center in Jermaine O'Neal, which might be enough to make Webber feel comfortable at the PF slot in Indiana. If we have to take Croshere and his fat contract to make that happen, I say no way. The only players from Indiana that I would take would be O'Neal or Rose, and they are probably untouchable.

Why do you guys even bother with him? Focus on the Rockets. The draft is next week. Screw Webber and where he'll be for a while. I think what we do in this draft is far more entertaining and worthwhile than listening to what Vecsey has to say week-to-week (which is usually something different every week).

    Exactkt D.o.D.

Right now I am far more excited about the draft and all the options we have in it than than what happens with Webber and free agency. I really don't care too much what anyone is saying about where he will land, because nothing is very serious right now. He is not talking to teams right now(or at least shouldn't be [IMG]) so there is no real news on where he will end up. There is real news about the draft and who the Rockets might take, so I prefer to focus on it.

http://www.bskball.com/Rumors.htm .......This deal would have to wait until mid- August, unless the deal makes a pit stop in Houston due to Austin Croshere's base year status, something Houston can absorb. There have been rumors of Austin ending up in Houston this year to fill the SF void, and there was talk of a sign and trade for Shandon Anderson to Indiana to make this deal happen. With the number of 1st round selections the Rockets hold, and the fact that Indiana looks ready to make a real deal. If things get tight for Webber in Sacramento, don't be surprised if Sacramento-Houston and Indiana all get in bed together.............Now it belongs here.

Thank you j-bone. From those of us that don't go to every forum. Since Webber is our #1 FA target, this does apply here.
