Here's the bigger problem. The fact that some people beleive this is a huge face palm is where our issues fester. Most people that I know want everyone who commited crimes to be held accountable. They don't want anyone involved to get away with anything. But for some folks they think it is all about getting one over and tarnishing the other side. That makes people try and act defensively to protect their side and indulge in What-aboutism. Some of those folks might have been willing to find agreement in being against criminals. But when one side generalizes the behavior and applies to everyone, the people who are being broadstroked think they aren't like those criminals and search for ways to point fingers and shout, "You're guilty too!" or "It was really you guys" which brings out a similarly defensive response. And the cycle of getting nowhere continues. I feel like we could all be on the same side in condemning the criminals involved.

Charge them all! I could care less which side they are on politically. One thing is for sure, Trump incited them and we don't need these type radicals getting away with this type violence in our country. Impeaching the ring leader is the first step.
Them (BLM) pushing away this person (and others) disputes that assertion. Going by your measure, the Republican Party is a racist organization because many of it's members are openly racist. I've been adamant about the separation of protesters and rioters/looters and a lot of what was done last summer and beyond was protesting. There was rooting and looting as well and that is what they are, rioters and looters not protesters who have been denounced. Antifa is a label anybody can slap on anything, it's not centralized, it's not organized...it's just a label. That being said, lawbreakers need to go to jail...regardless of what organization they are a part of or what label they have.
I don't get this infatuation. When bugaloo boys killed cops this summer I didn't see the usual suspects say anything. 1 leftist didn't incite them over the edge. It's ridiculous.
Agree I hoped we would have also gone after the whitehouse seditionists last summer with meaningful zeal just as well , maybe that would have sent a clear message to the trump supporters that would riot and attempt to trespass restricted barriers . Lock them all up and the great thing is this sets the precedent on how we should go after all that go against government in a seditious manner.
