Man not winning 2019 just stings even more... Doesn't look like Houston will be able to add much more payroll. Verlander being out this year sucks too. That Baez pick up just doesn't make sense. Would rather add that money to a decent offer for Brantley. I know rating farm systems is very subjective but we need more options for the outfield.

Im surprised you are so down on Click this early. I consider him to have done pretty much nothing at this point, good or bad. Baez and Stanek are 3rd and 4th tier moves and didnt really move the needle; maybe he slightly overpaid Baez but not to any meaningful degree. I would guess 75% of his offseason moves have yet to be made.
If they are even remotely in on Springer or Brantley a top closer was out of the question. My anger level at the Baez deal will depend on how much Hand, Rosenthal, and Colome end up getting. You guys are going to love another year of Josh Reddick in RF.... Also hope Suzuki going to the Angels for 1.5 million kills the market for guys like Castro, Avila, etc
I haven’t given up on him, I am just grumbling. He hasn’t done anything wonderful or terrible so far. I do find the quote funny though, I guess we aren’t getting a closer.
