Are you saying that it's impossible to give up too much in a trade? How many times have you seen a team give up 4 players + 8 draft picks to get only 1 player and 1 draft pick in return? Or are you saying there is nothing between "4 players + 8 draft picks" and "for free", and that it's either one or the other?

Harden adapted to playing with another ball dominant guard to the tune of a 65 win season. This isn’t exactly uncharted territory.

He already adapted, he chose to put up 13 assists and 15-20 pts in his last games here. :p

Westbrook collects a lot of assists too.

What does he do for a winning cause, that doesn't show up in the box score? Does he play defense? Does he move off the ball? Does he set screens? Does he run the offense and give hockey assists? Does he stay engaged when he's ignored on offense? Does he fight when he's facing adversity? The little things that add up towards winning a championship, he has not done it consistently and in a reliable manner. Like Mike Wilbon said he's a quitter. And thats what he did here in Houston, he ran when the going got tough and he quit (He has a history of it as well)

NYC media is TOUGH. The heat under that scanner is something else, let's see how Harden handles that

BKN gonna eat. The number of open shots James Harden generates by himself due to his ability to break his man down off the dribble, his ability to pull up from anywhere, and his mastery of the pick and roll is crazy. I'm so used to teams coming up with junk defenses consisting of double and triple teams and guys loading up on him that I can't even imagine how other teams will defend him with Kyrie and Durant on the floor with him.

The NBA is full of quitters. Harden didn’t start this trend.
