If what Trump did gets a no vote in impeachment then the Republicans stand for letting a President incite violence, lie, attempt to bribe and threat voting officials in an election, and do anything possible to defraud the American people, while sitting back and watching them die because of his actions.
No, this is gonna be the status quo for people like her with no ground to stand on other than pure politic or is completely delusional. Trump impeachments were well within logical and reasonable reasons. You try to equalize that to this. There is no equal here.

This is what I meant , not trying to equalize anything ...the first impeachment was kinda reaching in my view, the second not so much...we all know the democrats wanted to get trump from day 1 and was gonna prick and prod until they could find something so we have to naturally expect likewise for the next go. I hear this. I don't think there was so much pricking and prodding from Dems as Trump doing Trump things and democrats (and many moderates of all stripes, like Flake, Romney, Kasich, etc) reacting. We really have to all lay some blame at Trump's bullying, rule-breaking, family-enriching feet sooner or later. As I say, it's not prodding someone to quote their outrageous statements, for instance, and point out how his actions are problematic. Cheers.
See I don't really get this. If you look at both impeachments side by side, it's like volume 1 and 2. Especially when you taken into account the very blunt warnings in Impeachment 1 about what was coming if you don't impeach and remove him. The evidence from impeachment 1 all pointed towards an obvious insurrection attempt, and the potential for dismantling of government into a corrupt autocratic form of government where free and fair elections are for the week. I just don't understand why folks still say this. Of course I understand why Republicans in Congress say it... it's called Covering your own Arse. They say that because they knew we were going here, and they still voted to keep him in power so they want to disregard their actions over the past 4 years that enabled this to happen. When people look back in history both the Mueller Report and Impeachment 1 will be pretty damn important pieces of the story because they tell you flat out what kind of corrupt autocrat you are dealing with who is hell bent on corrupting the law to his will for nothing but staying in power, money, and narcissism. It's like watching the movie Jurassic Park. The T Rex eating the dude on the toilet only matters to the story because of the setup the billionaire playing god, and Dr. Malcom warning that playing god, and messing with the natural world has consequences. The story of how we ended up at a mob of MAGA Terrorists overtaking the Capital in order to overthrow the government matters more than anything.
I hate to say it, but hopeful people keep saying "we're better than this!" No, collectively, all total, we're not. Lots of people are ready to vote for a dangerous and stupid woman like this. Democracies work when well-educated citizens vote based on policies and (boring) competent leaders. If Trump would have passed ~$5000 stimulus checks, I have no doubt he is reelected. All the laws broken from the day he took office to the horrors of children in cages and 350,000 dead Americans would have been ignored and/or forgotten.
He didn't make it just easy. He explicitly did illegal acts such a extorting foreign country using the power of the presidency for personal political purposes rather than trying to push forth the agenda of the United States. That absolutely did warrant a impeachment trial and conservatives bragging about how he was aquited in a republican majority congress that didn't even want to put forth evidence to the trial was the lamest corniest thing ever.
