Stone and Harden came up with the Master Plan to gain draft capital by trading him and get him back after next season with a retooled roster. Chess not checkers.
He ain’t coming back...well maybe for the extra curricular activities but not to play for the rockets
I'm almost certain his newly signed agents told Harden that he had to get ugly in order to force Houston to move. Harden has been pretty damn laid back all his time in Houston and he suddenly just becomes an ugly person, I don't think so. Obviously he has his character flaws, not pretending he is perfect, and I'm sure some human emotion was involved there. If it makes you feel any better, he did say, I love the City during that last interview, and I believe him.
His final leg will be in LA. Harden isn’t tied to Houston the way Lebron was linked to the state of Ohio, his home state. Bringing them a ring meant so much more.
His restaurant opens next week. He thinks he can trick people into thinking he actually cares about Houston. He only cares about one thing and that's himself. That's fine, there's nothing wrong in looking out for #1.
James isn't coming back just like KD isn't going back to okc. The difference between lebron and them is that lebron was born in Ohio. Cleveland also had never won a title but Houston has. I will say this from the outside lookin in as a Wiz fan. I know it sucks the way that it ended and you never even made the finals but even still, you guys don't realize how spoiled you are and how spoiled you sound sometimes. Thank this man. I'm 40 and have never seen a 50 win Wiz team in my entire lifetime, literally. We would kill to have had Harden and your success. Think about that sometimes. I even followed Hardens career at Arizona State and wanted the Wiz to draft him. There are a ton of terrible franchises in sports who are horrible for a person's whole life span. Be greatful. This dude showed up every night in a league where guys would rather sit every other game if they could. Thank you James, I appreciate the greatness and the effort even if you never quite got over the hump
