Do we need to package the 3 picks to have a chance at Webber?

    Listening To Chris Monter tonight on TSN Radio , he said the Rockets will probably need to move up or down in the draft because cap money for first rounders counts from day one and three first rounders would certainly decrease our shot at Webber , So should we package all the picks to move up or trade them all for a starting Small Forward/Center ?

    Monter left out one other option. Trading 2 of 3 picks and a player currently under contract clears a lot of cap room.

    Regardless of the Webber situation, the Rocks don't want to have Collier, Langhi and 3 rookies all under contract. That's too much inexperience.

    Here are the costs for the 1st year:
    <font size=+1>
    <tt> 13  $1,099,500300

    <tt> 18  $850,800

    <tt> 23  $690,100

    Raef to Rocks in '01-'02!

    I am afraid that we will have to give up a player plus the #13 and #18 plus a Future #1 pick to get to the top 5 lottery. I hope Walt leaves. he is to inconsistent to be reliable!
    Question? Can the Bulls take Cato and his salary off of our hands for us to release them from the draft pick hold that we have on them. Can that be done on Draft Day?
