No, We will lose our bench production and low post presence from Mo and also a shot blocker and defensive presence in CAto.
And brian grant and younger anymore these days.

No I wouldn't do that trade.

I love Mo and I love Cato. They are valuable to our team...Brian Grant would be nice but he's not that great...he's old too.

I'd rather get a young power forward...like Carlos Boozer :)

    No.

    Cato + Taylor > Grant (high-mileage and 3 yrs @ $43.4m remaining).

    Alston and Wang are FA's.

    Yao Ming - Wang
Brian Grant - C. Spoon - Scott Padgett
    JJ - Boki
    Cat - Pike - A. Griffin
    Franchise - Rafer Aslton

p.s. We could even resign Eddie Griffin!

    of course no

I don't think Wang is worth giving up a number 1 pick

and besides doesn't he have some grudge with the Chinese government? Isn't that why Dallas got rid of him? I think that would mess up the relationship between the Rockets and China

It depends on Skip-to-my-Lou. He's had a good year, and if I were assured that he would remain a good backup point, occasional starter, (and not another Moochie) I'd definitely consider it. I wouldn't throw in a first-rounder, however, and I'd explore other options first.

Umm..I looked at your trade proposal...and I thought WE WERE GETTING THE #1 PICK..heck no we're not giving another one up...

Mo is just as good as Brian Grant.
Cato is just as good as Brian Grant.
Rafer Alston is a cool guy lol..I'd love him on the ROckets..he's made a lot of 3's this season..done very nice...but do we really need him? Hopefully Steve can continue this awesome play next season...
    Wang? No thanks..

Eddie Griffin is like gone forever...

I don't like the trade...I would explore other options first. Come up with another idea...

if we got alston, would that mean that steve would quit copying his moves?

    (considering)

    yeah... wang stinks.

if you take him away, and flip sides on the pick. then maybe.

actually strike wang and the number 1 pick and i would consider.

Cato and MoT for Alston and Grant.

Grant ain't great, but we are NOT going to get a superstar PF and keep Steve at the same time. That's not gonna happen. Grant hits the 15 footer, which Cato doesn't, and defends better than MoT. Alston is a better backup than Wilks.
