Houston lost this trade regardless all those picks won't be lottery picks they will be in the 20s and Oladipo was all you got back in the trade embarrassing

we could have had him before injury if we had taken the offer before the season instead of trying to play big d!ck and ending up with a worse deal.

    Interesting.

Might be why Cavs got Allen for just a measly low FRP and Dante Exum. They took back Prince in the deal who makes roughly around 3M Lulz. It all makes sense now lmao.

Also cheap as he is Tillmàn didnt ruin Rox. Signing Ryan Anderson is what ruined the Rockets as trying to recover from that is the reason Rox went all in on Cp3 and then WB.

agreed . In addition , Tilman says “why pay luxury tax when your contending piece is in his prime?”

Our pick to OKC is protected 1-3 I believe. We have to suck bad enough this year to keep it.

They might pick up players like a healthy Oladipo like player by that time through free agency.

When we were fighting to win, Clemons was a road block.

Now that we are tanking, his contract actually could be an asset.

Allen would've been a great long term fit. yes we have wood but I believe they can play together. if they both got 30mpg, wood backup at at center for 18 minutes means they only play together for 18 minutes. would've been a very strong rebounding and rim protecting combination without giving up spacing with a 4-out offense.

plus I think wall-oladipo-prince-wood-allen, with boogie, gordon, Tate, house, Macklemore off the bench is probably in the play in tournament this year so we don't fork over the 5th pick in the draft to the thunder!

Nah Harden indirectly Sabatoged the Rockets short term and long term by demanding the Rockets go out and get Dwight, Paul and Westbrook. He nearly had a perfectly great tandem with Paul but we missed out window the 2 years he was here (Paul was significantly over paid the next year).

Tillman wasn't helping with trying to get under the luxury tax but who can blame him? It's his money and the Rockets weren't going to win with Harden, and with his reluctance with staying with the Rockets I'm glad he left.

Back to the middle or bottom dwellers, albeit we have a decent team.. we aren't going anywhere to the top unless Cousins and Vic figure it out with the current team.

Yeah - there are like 25 team owners in the league who would kill to have the roster he does. Tillman shrugs and says, "did we win a title?"

If it was that easy NYC wouldn't be a laughing stock for like almost forever now. If it were that easy everyone would be chill about Harden leaving the Rockets. Why not just pick a healthy player in free agency?
