Thanks for the clarity. So either we tank and wind up in the top 4 or we get the Heat #1 and the Blazers #1 this summer. I actually think a top 4 finish is possible, especially with our bad start.
F tanking. No way Rockets end up with worse record than TWolves, Kings, Wizards, Pistons. Trade Oladipo + however many of those butt wipe worthy picks for Beal. Build around Beal-Wood and call it a day.

you are correct, there's a lot of misinformation about our trade with OKC They can swap with us this year, however it's top 4 protected. They have a swap in 2025 as well which is top 20 protected. They own our picks in 24' and 26' which are both top 4 protected. Yes, if we're bad enough the next 5 years (including this season) we can retain all our picks. The issue is, as constructed our current team is bad but not bad enough to get a top 4 pick unless the lottery balls fall our way.
