Nope I’m here. I’m not a Harden only fan. I’ve criticized harden for that Westbrook trade plenty. This roster isn’t good enough. They should have traded him earlier on the season them again Irving leaving may have gotten us a better deal so..... it’s whatever. This deal wasn’t that good to me. Harden isn’t the main residing our team hasn’t won a championship except the Paul trade which I call out

All those rabid reactions to Max Kellerman and Colin Cowherd whenever they say anything will be gone
Cause those dudes get paid to talk about drama and the Rockets will have little drama

    that’s fine
They never talked about Hakeem back in the day
Even when he destroyed the league

We’re going to be just like the Spurs
Nobody media outlet is going to talk about us
Forcing the fans to use their brains and form their own opinions

Poor Christian Wood, he went from never getting on ESPN to basically living the same life.

If Hakeem played today they would cover him incessantly. The 24/7 sports media wasn't really going yet during his career, even with ESPN and Sports Center already in existence.

The Rockets go zero coverage when we won 2 titles because Dream wasn't a cultural icon or endorsed expensive shoes or hung out with rappers.

The media story was Jordan, Jordan playing baseball, Shaq, the Knicks, OJ Simpson, Dennis Rodman and Carmen Elecktra

The time we started getting lots of TV time was when we got Barkley

Replace Jordan with LeBron, and we have today's media

Yah that was the 90s though.
    Different culture today.
    More mediums for content.
Hakeem would be on GQ in his white linen and kufi.

Lebron may be the face of the league, but he doesn’t absorb all the media attention. Plenty of other players and stories.

In Wonder Woman 1984, Steve Trevor who Diana was banging in 1920 reappears in 1984

You are pretending the media of 2020 is jumping back into 1984-1990s
The Rockets got no respect then and they don't get respect now

OJ killed someone, and nobody saw an entire NBA Finals Game.

Look at the newb fans of the Rockets, they have no clue where Houston is on a map because the media controls their minds

newbs don't know who that dude is!

It's true. the Rockets were NEVER on TV til the playoffs nationally.
The 2 biggest players that got on us on TV
    were Barkley and Yao.

So the media will always be about marketing and money.

Dream was never as funny as Charles, and Yao had a billion of fans who could buy NBA products.

You remove Kardasian butt loving, adidas sponsoring Harden from the Rockets, you get no media attention

    which is actually refreshing

The more nationally televised games they remove, the less blackouts for out of market fans who pay for league pass broadband.

    it’s a lose win win

They are obsessed with making Houston sports look like ****.

The Astros cheated beating their beloved Yankees and Dodgers and nothing has been the same for media coverage since.

The Texans never got attention and now the media is trying to force a Deshaun trade after four months of forcing a Harden trade.
