Does it really matter who or what you traded for???? There is only 1 Harden. We weren’t gonna get back another Harden in either trade!!! Harden wanted out and was ranking it on the floor, so we can all feel good do we hold on to Harden and tell him to stay at home? He wasn’t gonna play for Houston EVER AGAIN after last nights TEAM CHEMISTRY KILLING remarks post game. He knew that tho, he knew what he was doing. He was told / coached into forcing HOU’s hand. This dah was gonna come so why not be optimistic with what we have? What , we are better with an out of shape, disgruntled star (still technically on the roster), but now sitting out games at home?

    It is what it is!!!

Simmons sucks and I honestly don't think the Nets teams is going to be as good as many of you guys think. I could totally see this blowing up in the Nets face big time. This was the smart move long term imo...

They get to pick higher if they swap. They don’t get an additional pick.

If that's the case, Stone did a pretty p*ss poor job.

Considering he got a worse deal than the one that the Nets offered previously when they were bidding against no one.

I would venture to guess that this was done only to blue ball Darnell Moraye and extend a middle finger to him.

The Nets team is nice but they have some dysfunctional egos in there that could lead to self destruction

Simmons checks off the 7 essentials of being a point guard and at 6’10”.......pure gold

    https://tradenba.com/trades/HgKhFoWm-

Simmons drives get disrupted because no team worries about Embiid or Tobias Harris killing them from 3-point land.

Simmons doesn’t have the ball in his hands as much as he should because the Embiid USG% is off the charts.

Embiid has one of the highest “Post Up” frequency% at about 34%. That with high minutes/USG% clogs the paint
so young Simmons can’t find room in the paint to operate. Tobias as well in Post Ups.

Tobias and Embiid are nightmare teammates for a point guard that does not shoot well from outside.
Simmons averages around 20 points a game when Embiid does not play, I believe......Oladipo per game?
    Blocks, steals, rebounds, ast%?

Tilman let his distance for Morey get the best of him. IMO.

    Edited: currently Dipo 18.9 (ast%) to Simmons 31.9 (ast%)

Simmons could have been traded for a high draft pick.

Harden will be fine we’ll into his thirties.

    A

    KD doesn’t have extensive injury

Everyone seems to forget here that Harden and KD actually like each other and have respect for each other.

That’s fine. We clearly have different views about Ben Simmons (and his contract by the way) and the rebuilding philosophy.

Golden State was an all-time great team with multiple championships with an awesome culture and fun style of play, and Durant got bored and wanted something new. Kyrie won a championship with Cleveland and got annoyed at not being the alpha dog and wanted out. No star has managed to survive with Harden more than a year without getting annoyed. This whole thing is crazy volatile.
