It’s time to sell players like Tucker and Gordon etc...

however, Tillllman will not go this route of FULL TANK so when the arena can be filled... people will buy tickets.

That means there's no free agents for Wall to attract. Lock the thread

The reality of the situation is that Wall needs to be traded as well.

    Scorched earth.

get your stars out of college/high school in the draft. Let them play cheap for a few years to make owner happy and hope you have similar luck to GS and BOS in talent progression. .

This coming draft would be a good one to have a high pick in. There are a number of interesting players IMO better than last year at least.

I know we’re not used to tanking and imagining a rag tag bunch of ROX who push contenders is sexy - we already did that pre Harden - it sucks. Losing is the only way. Astros did it. It works everyone just needs to be patient.

Um. This is Houston. The seats weren't consistently filled even when Harden was here.

20 year old stars that, if they're good, will get more money if signed by their current teams.

20 year old stars that, by the time they're in the prime, will not want to play with a 35 year old John Wall.

Hell no, not with Tilman around. If you think Harden is what made Houston toxic you're crazy. He was a consummate professional and completely loyal til Tilman walked in. Him leaving is a symptom of the toxicity not the cause. No one significant is gonna willingly play here till we have a change of ownership.

John Wall never made the Wizards a contender. We should trade him at the first opportunity, and go full tank-mode.

Exactly why it will be worse if there is no “headliner” players..

plus remember just because the seats were empty... they were still sold out/purchased by corporations etc..

That won’t be the case in a full rebuild where we roll out scrubs to play
