He deserves a tribute. No matter how mad some of you all are, James Harden made us relevant when we were headed for mediocrity by attempting to turn Jeremy Lin into a superstar. I get it, James got everything he wanted and he screwed us with the Westbrook trade, but whatever man, he does not deserve to be boo'ed at TC. Correct, the Rockets would have opportunity to swap 25 for 17 in your first scenario. Your 2nd rounder to 1st rounder scenario is not possible.
I remember the Spurs crowd going all-in on Kawhi in his first game back (nationally televised game) and it was kind of amazing. They did not relent the entire game. And their fans are... well I'm not going to sit here and disparage others.

KD fit well with GSW because none of those guys really need or want to dribble the air out of the ball. Him and Kyrie were ok together, but unless James does something there that he was unwilling to do here -- play off ball a lot -- I don't see this working how he thinks it's going to. Kyrie and Durant both probably feel they are better players and Harden is joining their team as Chris Bosh...The third wheel.. Neither one of those guys is giving up the rock to watch James dribble the clock away.

Ideally you want to do your tanking now, we have our own picks for 2022 and 2023, we should be aiming for top 5 picks. By the time the Brooklyn picks roll around our lottery picks will have had a couple of years experience. We might even package the Brooklyn pick to trade a star.
